My first centrifuge.
I haven't used a centrifuge before, but I've been interested for quite a while; I like to play with science equipment and am not using it for any serious work. The item appears to be as described: There are 6 20ml tubes included. They are round-bottomed and do not come with a lid. The machine's dials indicate that it can spin at 4000rpm, but I have no way to verify that it does. The timer functions similarly to a kitchen egg timer and may lack some precision. It runs off of 110v AC.The manual is very utilitarian and lists out specifications (including a maximum RCF of "1790 X g"). It features a high-level view of internal components including a circuit diagram. There are also a concise and slightly amusing series of simple troubleshooting steps. For my initial use, I centrifuged pureed watermelon from a blender. Six tubes were filled to roughly the same volume as measured by my eyeball. I placed the centrifuge on my kitchen table and set the rotational speed to maximum and left it for ten minutes. Suction cups at the bottom of the centrifuge gripped the vinyl tablecloth and prevented motion. When operating at full speed, its noise level is comparable to a microwave. The result was a mildly pulp-free watermelon juice at a significantly warmer temperature. The clarity was improved, but still mostly opaque.

Good intro centrifuge
Functionally, this centrifuge works very well. It is balanced with minimal vibration and noise. For the price it would be fantastic for a veterinarian just starting their business or someone with a hobby requiring a centrifuge. I can definitely see it being good for spinning down blood and urine, less so for decals as it is fixed rotor. Downsides are a plastic housing, plastic tube holders, and a very flimsy plastic lid that has no attaching mechanism. As you can see, the rotor IS metal, and they did include replacement motor brushes. It works well, and for the price is a good starter centrifuge, but don't expect it to last forever.

Electric Centrifuge
I have wanted my own centrifuge for quite a few years, so when this one became available, I jumped on it. It was reasonably priced and it holds 6 tubes, so perfect for my uses. It has nice suction cups on the bottom to secure it to your table or bench. It is fairly quiet when running and it spins down very well. I am using it for spinning down whole blood that I have pulled from my goats to send off for testing. I am very pleased with it and for a small homesteader/home use, it works great!

Very useful for doing pregnancy tests quickly on goat blood.
I never thought I'd have a home centrifuge, and I don't know what other people would use one for, but this saves me a lot of time when it's time to find out if my goats are pregnant. The home blood test I use requires anticoagulated blood or serum. Blood tubes with anticoagulant in them are impossible to find in small quantities (other than stealing them from a workplace, which I will not do), and for serum the best I could do was to sit my tubes in the fridge overnight. This morning I drew and spun down blood from 10 goats (in two batches because it only has six wells. I haven't used a centrifuge in decades, so I just started at a low speed and worked up until the results looked like what I wanted. I was able to do all 10 tests at once then, and the final results were 5 pregnant and 5 not, exactly what I was hoping for. This centrifuge feels solid and has suction cup feet so it vibrates very little when stuck on a level surface. It has a substantial see through plastic lid to shield from accidental splatters. Operation is simple with only manual speed and timer knobs that are easy to read and have solid clicks when you change settings. The instructions are good.I recommend this centrifuge.

Commercial Grade Centrifuge for Hobbies and DIY
While this product is not intended for medical use, it is exceptionally well-made and ideal for home extractions, science experiments, and other non-medical applications. As a graduate student working on my M.S. in Cybersecurity Management, I’ve found it particularly useful for simulated forensics exercises involving the use of a centrifuge, though I won't delve into specifics. It performs efficiently, separating solutions with ease. The HFS(R) electric centrifuge meets my performance expectations and significantly exceeds expectations for value. Given its quality and affordability, I consider it an excellent investment and would be willing to pay more for its capabilities.

Centrifuge
Easy to operate and use. Speed adjustment is nice. Built-in timer is good. Not very heavy, does not take up a lot of space. Doesn't make a lot of noise. Functionally is fine.
