Speed Up the Clean with The Little Green Machine!
I don't own a Bissell Pro Heat upright model. I don't even own a Bissell carpet upright washer with a hose, which this tool would fit. However, I do own a Bissell Pets "Little Green Machine," mains power hand held spot cleaner machine and I wanted to see if this turbo tool would fit, knowing that in the U.S, Bissell offer this very same tool with their machine, which in the UK, they don't! A bit pricey but worth it with a slow spin is how best I can describe this wash tool. It is not a "wet version of a turbo brush tool," though. It does a better job at rolling in the carpet shampoo faster than using the generic suction only tool that Bissell sell with my machine. See picture of it being attached to the handle instead of the usual brush. It spins slowly when connected to my Bissell Little Green Machine though and this isn't just down to the lower power motor on the Bissell washer itself. If it did spin quickly it would do more damage than cleaning, which a lot of buyers on Amazon.com appear to have no idea about. You see, when carpet fibres get wet, they get soft and they are easier to pull out. Bissell have designed this tool with a flat channel at the front that allows suction to pick up liquid as well as the brush roller itself which has no suction channel, but just rolls the solution in.This tool allows automatic rolling of shampoo into carpet fibres and has a separate but very thin lip at the front where all the dirt gets sucked up. There's a slider at the back which allows for the option of brush action or just suction only, even though when I select the suction only mode, the brush roll will still roll a little but it won't permanently spin. I am pleased though that the tool doesn't feel all that bulky and the handle from the Bissell and it fits perfectly and permanently due to the open space lock on the cuff of this brush head that has already been incorporated for the Bissell's press release lug located on the handle to my machine. In use, the Pro Heat turbo brush doesn't do a bad job - infact I find it to be really quick at getting the shampoo into the carpet pile and cleaning out the dirt as Bissell have designed. It is faster and easier than using the static, fixed brush head supplied as normal - but more importantly it doesn't rip out the wool carpet fibres as much as the static brush on my model.
