This safety door pole has given us so much extra peace of mind. It was easy to set up, feels incredibly sturdy, and adds an extra layer of security to our home. I like that it's adjustable and doesn't require any permanent installation. It gives me confidence knowing we have added protection, especially at night or when we're away. It's well made, simple to use, and definitely worth having for anyone looking to improve their home security.

My balcony sliding door has sunk slightly over time and no longer catches the top track properly. Because of that, the door has actually fallen inward twice, which obviously made me uneasy about security, among other things. While I decide whether to repair or fully replace the door, I bought this security bar as a temporary and economical solution, and it has been perfect for that. It installs in seconds and feels very sturdy once it’s in place. Now the door physically cannot fall inward, which gives me peace of mind when I’m home and especially when I’m away. It has also been extremely windy the past few days, and honestly if I hadn’t had this bar in place I probably would have been in panic mode worrying about the door blowing open or shifting again. I also like that it’s adjustable and doesn’t require any drilling or permanent installation. It comes with a second bar that can be placed in the track for added security to prevent the door from sliding open, which I haven’t needed to use yet. Overall, it’s economical, simple, adjustable, and easy to use. If you have a sliding door that doesn’t feel secure or has alignment issues like mine, this is a very simple and effective fix. I love it so far and I just received it. Time will tell definitely! It is well done, the stability is good, there is no noise, the closures snap in place quickly, piece of cake installation, easy functioning, and it feels very durable! It has its own name but I renamed it to my Spirit Warrior ! I felt secure right away. Thank you for an idea that works without legal stipulations and a feeling of feeling safe in your own home ! I love the idea. If it works the way I know it will, then I highly recommend it.

Bought this for my granddaughter so she can keep her 3 year old from being able to open the door. It’s been great so far and served its purpose. It’s sturdy in its design and construction.

Excellent quality and easy to use!

Easy to put together and versatile since it can be used for sliding doors or standard doors. Adjustable height too which is perfect depending on high/low your doorknob is. Works great, too! Borderline impossible to get the door open if this is on.

Looks sturdy. The rubber footing holds firmly. Both the top holder and footing are made of thick rubber. The round metal stud is chrome plated and less than 1 mm thick 3/4 inch diameter and the top is a 1 inch diameter. The length is adjustable, the top metal tubing has many holes for length adjustments.

I’m actually really disappointed with how wobbly this bar is when using it under a door knob. The little push down pop-up button to hold the metal bar in place. Does it job, but the rest of the rod seems to be shaky.
