Q: Is the plastic sheet removable? I have a painting I want to display but I don’t want the plastic piece over it.

I bought the 5x7 overall size of this frame. The clear piece on mine is glass (not plastic) and is removable.

Q: How thick is the frame ?

It's about as thick as a walmart frame would be.
