Q: How much weight should i use

You should check with your Orthopedic Dr. or Chiropractor to be sure what is right for you. I have 3 bulging and 1 herniated disc between my neck & spine...I was started on a regimen of 7lbs for 15 minutes, 2x per day and then moved up 5 lbs per week until I reached 20 lbs... But everyone is different and every incident is different.

Q: how much weight the bag holds?

My therapist only wanted me to work up to 8 lbs. over time. but I think it can take 10 lbs. hope that helps.
