Easy to install and very effective

I purchased two different sized units - 180x300 + 200x 300.Most of the external unit is aluminium powder coated so should last a long time.Handles are sturdy and strong and again should last many years .The ground posts are light weight but with the coach screws and good solid ground to fix into, it holds the roller handle well.The wall brackets i believe are power coated but possibly steel, and once set up level and in line with the main roller body simply allows the main body to slot in and the Allen keyed locking bolts hold the body firmly , and with a few turns of an Allen key are as easily to release .The180 X 300 is a little more powerful to pull out for some reason and the entire sheet looks taught whereas the 200x300 is not a powerful and has a slight sag along the top edge, although this may be rectified with some minor adjustment either by a slight tilt on the post or adjustment of the main body brackets.The action of pulling the handle to draw out the sheet is best done maintaining a 90 degrees angle ( so you are actually pulling it in directly in line ) and keeping the same height or elevation, rather than drawing it out ethier upwards or downwards. When nearing the post within the last 10cm then gently lift up and then latch the handle into the post at the top and the aluminium front edged sheet onto the small hub at its base.To return the sheet to the main body simply do the reverse but remember to allow it in gently at an even pace and at a level height and it should wind itself in evenly and easily slots nicely into its base.If you do find you have not kept it at a level height when winding it back in as the material will tend to ride up or down then simply pull it out again and allow it to re wind itself in by guiding it , so as to remove any uneeven rolling and it should simply slide back into its holding position in the main body.As well as the product i found the customer service second to none which is getting very rare these days.So overall , the product looks and feels sturdy and has a good finish, keeps out the rain and will keep out the sun ( although this is written in the winter) easily fitted once all holes drilled and easily removed if required.

Generally very happy with this, now it's fitted and tension lessened. It looks good and is very well built.My one gripe is that the instructions for adjusting the tension are rubbish. Out of the box, the tension was far too high, my wife couldn't pull the screen fully open. I'm a bit of a DIY'er so followed the instructions to adjust the tension. That's where the problem began. It didn't make it clear that the tension adjustment needs to be from the bottom and not the top, so I had to remove the whole thing and adjust the tension with it on my bench.Having got the tension to that of roller blind it works great.

Purchased the 1.6m height in black to provide privacy in our front garden where we sit out most (due to orientation of house).Overall very impressed with the kit and exceeded expectations. Assembly instructions very brief but fortunate to have a talented husband who is an engineer:). Once assembled the screen provides fantastic privacy and easily coils back into its housing case. To maintain longevity of the product we plan to dismount and take indoors for the winter even though the powder coated aluminium will most probably weather well.Our only negative was the packaging it came in, the box was bashed in places and there were a few dents on the housing case of the screen. We decided to avoid hassle and live with those. Suggest the box contents are packed with paper to provide more robust transportation.Overall very pleased with this product.

fit great in garden and cut out the sun

Bottom plate bent/poorly fitted so the upright does not stand vertically. Aluminium is damaged and leaving a sharp piece. These faults could not have caused in transit.

Great product, love the enhanced locking system on the product. Exactly the colour I wanted, great construction and design. Highly recommend this seller and product, well worth the price.

Previous install damage. You could see where had been installed by rub marks on main unit and install brackets. Also where securing bolts from bracket go to unit damaged and bent casing. Double taping on packaging with tektake embossed tape when arrived so had been repackaged- I purchased not a non refurbished 2nd hand producr back it goes for a full refund. Be aware u have to.pay £54 to return and try and claim back as its not postage paid via royal mail

Fácil de instalar. Lo he colocado vertical. Cómo única pega es que al ser la tela de 3 metros y de buena calidad, el tambor donde se aloja es un poco voluminoso.

Pratico e robusto

Non è stato smontato da me, ma, da quello che ho visto, il montaggio non è stato fatto facile (tra l'altro la ferramenta finita sembrerebbe inidonea).In ogni caso, lo ritengo ottimamente progettato, in quanto consente un ottimo riparo dalla vista, dal sole e dal vento, capace di essere facilmente nascosto.Esteticamente valido.

Produit solide et conforme aux descriptions, c’est vrai que le resort est fort et nécessite une installation solide et un peu de force et attention pour le tirer et retirer en sécurité. Mais c’est mieux que une ressort trop faible ! Un peu de problèmes due aux companie de livraison. J’espère que la livreur à été changé pour une plus sérieuse.
