I thought the heating mat was turning off and not working. The screen just goes to sleep and you can awaken with the temp button. I used a laser pyrometer to test it while the screen was off and temp remained at set point. I'm very happy with the purchase and would buy again.

Fantastic for starting garden. Ive bought multiple of these and they are great. The base trays i use for bottom watering year round, and the light with seedling starters have been instrumental in getting garden going.
