Michael Joseph Thorne Princess

I love LJ Shen's writing. Gobble gobble, easy to digest - read it in a day or two and its wonderful.This book was no exception I really enjoyed the chemistry that the main 2 characters had. We see a lot of growth, especially in the FMC, Hallie, who got on my nerves to begin with but then I grew to like. I think if there was a bit more banter and quick wit from her it would have made her shine a bit brighter. But with the past that she's had its no wonder her spark was dimmed. I just wish we had got a bit more of an insight earlier on in the book. Nevertheless I loved it - and I will continue to buy this author's books.- standalone- mafia (very light)- bodyguard romance- forbidden love- traumatic pasts- check TW's - this book touches on some delicate matters- mile high tension3 spice

I did really enjoy this book, I read it over 2 days so that must say something right?! I did feel like the story could have been taken up a notch with some of the story lines i.e. the rape, abduction etc. and kind of far fetched to get her a bodyguard for a nip slip, I thought more could have been done with that but overall was okay for mild taste. Writing was good and I loved the wit of them both especially Ransom. Ending was slightly rushed also but nevertheless id recommended.
