VERY GOOD VIDEOS UNDERWATER
I have purchased my third Kodak Pixpro SP 360 for a purpose. An underwater impression of a swimming pool during swimming events. It works very well. The action activated video gives very good results. There's only a minor setback: the images is never full 360°. A thin slice of frame is cut out . Never the same way. In my first camera (which went lost) it was on one side, but not too evident. In the second one, it was too evident (sent back). In this one is on both the sides, but negligible. One warning. It takes micro sim up to 32 Gb only.

Good to trial ideas but not true 2K and not excellent quality
First things first. If you pay this little for a 360 camera then you can not expect great quality. Reasonable 360 cameras start at thousands of pounds and good ones start at the price of a fairly decent car. The lenses to get high quality in fish eye recording or playback are phenomenally expensive. So temper your expectations. That said it's not bad. The web interface is very basic and rather klunky so I found I often just started recording from the buttons on the side. There are several annoying defects in the lens (but see above about expectations). Sound quality is not great but I didn't expect anything else out of a box this small. The one annoyance with this is that it is not true 360 2K. It will record an image 2k pixels wide but not when recording 360 video or images. So it you want a 2k x 1280 image distorted onto a full dome view this will give it a go. If you want a true full dome recording then you are limited to 1440 x 1440.That said it allows me to record videos for playback in a full dome environment. I use those videos but this really is just sufficient to p[lay with the ideas and trial them before possibly upgrading to something that might let me do 4K full dome videos once I know the ideas will work.

Nice camera shame about the support and documentation
The camera itself is OK but the manual is pretty awful as are the manuals for the supporting software (such as it is)You will need a smart phone to set up the camera but most people have that but the documentation assumes a lot of knowledge - eg - UNFOLDING, SNS account, etc.Kodak tech sup[port have so far proved less than useless - the camera is not listed on the support site where you enter a model to get an an email reply, the customer service guy sent me a link quoting the wrong camera which in any case just led to their software downloads which I already have.Basically the problem is that like many products there are lots of features but the documentation gives no overall view and mainly shows lots of diagrams about setting the many, many options which are not explained.I suspect that most people will simply shoot lots of video and then not know what to do with it.Also, remember it only shoots 360 in one dimension, a dome, not a sphere, to get true 360 video you need two cameras.

Kit includes camera and mounting accessories in a good value package
This is a very good value kit as you get the camera and an accessory kit. This is not clear in the description but if you click on the images you see the accessories. I attach images of the box that arrived and its contents. In the main package there are two separate boxes, one for the camera and one for the accessories. The accessories include many mounts for the camera similar to those you get for other action cameras such as gopro. For my research it is very useful to have the head strap. There is also an underwater case. It has a rubber lens cap and two spherical transparent covers that can be screwed on which acts to protect the actual lens a bit like when you put a clear filter on an slr to stop the lens getting scratched. The only downside is that the battery usb charger has a two prong plug not a UK one but can be put in any usb changer or usb-1 laptop port. With the camera and accessories this is a good value starter kit.

A lot to take in to start with, but is user friendly.
Be aware the results from this camera will be far better than you can view, unless your phone, pad and laptop is compatible. 3D and 4k for top viewing, But that aside its top class, and full cinema results.

Nonsense. This is a 180 cam. 1/2 a product.
I bought this with the intention of introducing myself to filming 360 footage, which aligns with the VR hobby I recently took up. This seemed like an economical option to try things out before investing further.Only after receiving it, I discovered that two of the same camera are required for 360, as well as a specialized bracket to connect the two. In an effort to stay the course, I looked at ordering a second one, only to find that it had gone from $125 to over $400 literally overnight. I then discovered a 4k model for around $150 and decided to make my own twinning bracket.I have since found a third model from the kodak that is virtually identical except that it does in fact do full 360 without all the additional nonsense.

Doesn’t work
Never came on. Their app doesn’t even work right either. Not a good product at all.
