These Terry clips are effective and grip well, IF the correct size has been selected from the assortment for the item to be held. It is important to make sure the securing screw is fully home for the full tension on the clip.The edges are a bit sharp on the inside where they grip the item and can scratch its surface, and if this matters then a should be used instead.Securing them to the backing only needs one screw, I used ¾” No6 because of the thickness of the wooden board. These fit easily in the two larger sizes, but a No4 screw might be required for either size of smaller clip if one does not want to enlarge its fixing hole.

These are sturdy clips it some edges are a little sharp and needed a light sanding.I found that a washer (to suit the screw diameter) or two between the clip and the surface they are to be mounted on is required because without them, when fully screwed down, the clip is very difficult to open.That done they are very good.

Overall very good value for money but just wasn't up to the job.Bought these to hold brooms and other items but they would just slip through, these clips are very flimsy and not very rigid.Bought alternative holders that do the job perfectly, see my other review of those.

Absolutely love this clips!! Freed up so much space in my shed, and tools now easier to find. Only bad thing really is that the smallest clips are too small for most screws. The hole is too small to put a screw in, despite me finding the tiniest screws to use! Otherwise the rest are spot on. Best Buy in a long time.

You get a good selection of sizes in this bundle and they are easy to attach using a single screw. It would have been better if they were a little less flimsy, but I suppose that is why Terry is giving away so many for the money!
