Remote Control Compatible with Logitech Speakers System Z906 with Battery

FIRST: I got mine in 3 days which was amazing and made me very happy!My dog chewd up the original and so I ordered one of these from another website. It didn't actually work so good: some buttons didnt work and the range was super short.Last week, my dog chewed up this one as well so I ordered again from Amazon. This one works great. All buttons function, the range is good and works right out of the bag. It comes with battery so simply point and press and it works.And above all, great price...

I figured I'd save a few bucks and buy this over the official replacement. It works fine, but it doesn't seem to produce a very strong or maybe wide IR signal. I have to hold it at a VERY specific (and not always the same) angle for the receiver to see it and register the input. For the extra $8-10 or whatever, I'd recommend getting the more official looking remote (assuming that works as well as the original!)

Works just like the original. No issues.

As other people have said, the remote I recieved only works within a couple of feet from the controller. The range just needs to be farther.

I have the Logitech Z906 system, the remote will turn the power on but that's it, it does nothing else. Waste of time and money.

Got my remote and it was working right out of the box. it is much smaller than the original if that matters to anyone.Also need to have a pretty decent line of sight to the sensor for it to pick up, which hasn't been a problem for me.**after owning the remote for a few months it is still a good buy if you lost/broke your original. With that said, the remote and the receiver needs a really good line of sight for it to work. So i often find myself stretching my arm over to get it to work from time to time. Not a huge deal to me but I can understand the inconvience and frustration for others as I did not have to do that with the original.
