I spent too much time looking at various plastic boxes designed to hide wires, and eventually bought this one. I liked it enough to buy a second one.Is it perfect? No, but it works very well for certain applications. Call it four and a half stars.The white with very realistic-looking "wood" top works well in rooms that have hardwood floors and is particularly well-suited for applications that require something fairly small to sit on top of it like a cell phone or, in my case, the remote receiver for a subwoofer.The slots for cables are at the top and bottom, and there is a narrow one along one edge for running small cables like the ones that power cell phones. That's very likely why they bowed the top. It makes it easy and secure to set your phone on the top, plug it in using a cable run through the narrow slot along the top and let it charge.The top has molded-in ribs inside for support but is fairly thin. The entire thing is pretty lightweight, but not so much that it will crack under normal usage, even with something small on top. The simulated wood grain is plastic but very realistic. It looks very good on a wood floor. The main drawback is the fit is pretty loose, and the ends are held by small plastic ridges that don't do much to stop any pressure from the cables inside it from popping off the lid.The slots are effective, but to use the top ones on the sides requires running the cable through the slot, which might be impossible if the cable is a fixed connection on both the device and the power cube. This was disappointing, as there were some cables I would have run through the top slots had the plug fit through the slot.I ended up buying several of the version from Bluelounge in various colors. Bluelounge CableBox Moonlight Blue - Cable Management They cost a little more, are about the same size, are heavier and sturdier, and the lids won't come off accidentally. I don't mean to say this product is bad, as it is not. I like that they look good and hide the mess of wirrs. Found the smaller of the boxes hard to get the lid off, had to use flat blade screw driver.

The cord hider looks like the photos and work well. They were easy to set up and are a good addition to my room.

There is plenty of space for your cords or power strips inside. Read the measurements before you purchase. I did and mine are great. Remember there is only one slot on each side, but the slots are fairly generous. Certainly big enough for an extension cord size. From messyto clean.The plastic is not thick but sturdy enough for the purpose required. The fit of the lids is snug. Take your time wiggling it off the first time so that you don't break the Box.

This is a pretty simple product and it does it's job just fine. If you have too much stuff inside the box like I do, the insides might push the top cover up, as there is no clip or latch securing the top cover in place. It fits snugly as long as you don't stuff the box over full. I was considering taping it down a little bit with gaffer's tape, but I managed to get everything in there in the end without a problem, so taping it closed wasn't necessary.The faux wood cover matches my floor, and looks pretty nice. The DMoose sticker on the side is pretty big, and I think a smaller one would have looked better. In my case I just put that side toward the wall so it didn't matter.I've had this box for a couple weeks now, and I've grown to really appreciate how much better things look under my desk. There's a few different options out there, and I picked this one based on looks. It's big enough to fit a large 12 outlet surge protector inside, with 8 plugs used along with 4 wall-warts. I think they did a good job making it big enough, and not too small or too big.

I purchased this primarily to be able to put my cords in one organized place so I wouldn’t trip on them in the living room anymore. While it has helped cosmetically, I do think the box has limitations such as only holding a select amount of cords. We have it at the bottom of our living room table and have to often remove and adjust the cables (we use it for phones, laptops, etc.), so it does get moved quite a bit. We have found it harder to use by putting the cords through the small holes on each side, and often resort to removing the top and just having them come out of there since we also added a power strip inside.Since we use this in the living room, it has helped to be safer and also look nicer. However, the cords do get tangled in the box due to lack of space and high usage so we often have to adjust it.Also, it does feel and look quite cheap. If this doesn’t matter to you and your need is about organization, this works well. If quality matters, you may want to try something else. We’ve had this for a few months and overall, we are satisfied but still feel like it’s not a complete solution.

While living in a one bedroom condo. Having a power cord sitting on our table to charge phones etc. This is great looks like a white bix , now off the table and on the book shelf.

Excellent product. Helped me organize all the wires and electric strips and keep them out of sight...also protects them from any chances of getting damaged or wet..a bit expensive but brilliant product
