A little bit goes a long way with this perfume - 1 spritz is all you'll need, just rub it around. The post describes the scent as "notes of lychee, bergamot, and raspberry, easing into a heart of Turkish rose, vanilla, musk, incense, and sandalwood, and drying to a base of cedar, amber, and Haitian vetiver." I had to get my husband's feedback on this as well to determine what each of us thinks it smells like. The notes of sandalwood, cedar, incense, musk, dried rose and vanilla are what I pick up the most. My husband likened the smell to that of when we do woodworking and the woods are releasing those deep trapped oils. So this is definitely an earthy, warm scent. It's not off-putting at all, everyone who I had sniff it does like it (and I tend to go for bright and fruity/floral like Clinique Happy). I don't wear perfume often because I can't wear scents to work, but this will definitely become part of my date night routine.

-I was most excited about trying this fragrance when i ordered six fragrances from this line. “Madly in love” has top notes of lychee, bergamot and raspberry followed by heart notes of turkish rose, vanilla, musk, incense, and sandalwood, and dries down to a base of cedar, amber, and Haitian vetiver. I enjoy a good rose note in a fragrance so i was curious to see how it was going to smell blended with incense which i am not really a fan of. I am definitely not disappointed but at the same time this did not wow me either although i do like the scent profile.-This fragrance is a little too strong for me. The incense note is a little too prominent and almost pungent to my nose, and all the lovely notes in this fragrance are in the background which i’m not able to enjoy as much. I feel the amber in the fragrance is dark and smoky and lacks that touch of sweetness which i would have liked. The dry down is quite smooth and woody.-Longevity is great. One spray should last all day and more.-I do like this fragrance despite it being a little too strong for me. I just prefer some other fragrances more from this line.

very long lasting scent but it was not for me. smelled very woody and spicy, and floral. but not in a good way for me. it did not mix with my body chemistry well at all. i wanted to like it so much because the packaging and bottle are beautiful, and arabian perfumes are supposed to be so good. was a little disappointed

Well I wasn't sure what to expect with this one - but I was very surprised at the overall tone of the scent and how it lasted over time.It's a complex scent - a little more on the feminine side for sure but there's hints of masculine notes that stand out so often and really give it a momentary shift.I've never smelled anything quite like it and I am quite pleased to have tried it. I would recommend if you'd like something truly unique.

This perfume is probably the most long-lasting scent I have ever used. It is best to put it on bare skin as it smells nicer after the top note wears down. If you get it on your clothes that top note doesn't fade and you will smell strong all day long, and smells different than when you put it on your skin. A little goes a long way, so don't douse yourself. I was debating whether this was a masculine or feminine scent - and I truly think anyone can use it.

I got this scent on the basis that it would be a floral scent. However, it really doesn't smell floral at all. It smells very strong, but not well in my opinion. For the price, I was expecting something completely different. The packaging is great, however, and it makes a good gift.

I will admit to being a perfume “novice.” I don’t know about top notes or other perfume terms. I like something that smells nice and lasts a long time. This perfume checks those boxes off nicely!This perfume smells very floral and feminine. I really like the way it smells. A little spray goes a long way! I spray into the air once and walk through. That’s enough to make you smell wonderful. The best part is the fact it lasts all day! So many scents wear off early but this one does not. It makes the skin and the clothes smell wonderful. I get compliments each time k wear this.The perfume is pricier then what I would normally pay but it will last due to only requiring small amounts, smells amazing and lingers all day.

I like that this fragrance has complex layers that tell a story that starts with a musky wood that steps aside to reveal roses and other florals. Through the day, the florals slowly lift to a woodsy vanilla with fruity and floral back notes. The name seems appropriate. I walk through a single spray's mist after a shower and it lasts all day and have received compliments in different contexts, mostly at close quarters, and don't feel like I am too loud.This comes in beautiful packaging and the Sawalef / Swiss Arabian bottles always look amazing on my vanity. This would make a nice gift or treat to yourself.
