This was a good building experience, though challenging in parts. Its 5 separate sections sometimes create confusion in the building as you have to make sure you keep them apart in order for the model to open and be displayed properly. The colors used are loud and vibrant making for a more than dominant model. Instructions were clear, but not perfect (not many are) and the finished piece is good-looking. One downside is moving this thing, it's impossible to grab all 5 pieces at once without one dangling off, so I had to slide it off my work table and onto a board before placing it in its final location.

Some pieces are missing. Some parts never 'clicked' for proper support. Colours in booklet sometimes don't match to what you have been given, which makes it at times confusing. Press the bricks down real hard to make them stay together.

I was hesitant in buying this because I know Lego brand is amazing, but the bigger sets have become so expensive. I have a basement full of legos and this is a great set for an older child who has built legos before. My 15 year old son easily put this together but he has been building legos for years. It would be frustrating for a younger child because some of the pieces are hard to find. Even though this set isn't perfect, it gets five stars for price and looks. I would buy this again.

There are 11-12 sacs of pieces per major step with no labeling or instructions to guide. Each step requires sorting through hundreds of pieces to find the few needs per section of construction. Colors do not match needed pieces very often. On the positive the pieces hold placement better than legos
