Great nail remover
Tried various other claw type tools before this and none worked well. Removed about 750 floor board nails with it, you have to hit it hard, it will put a dent in the wood but it works very well.

Only reason for marking down one star is that it clearly doesnt look like it will stand the test of time
so far, it pulls out nails with ease. Only reason for marking down one star is that it clearly doesnt look like it will stand the test of time, having pulled out 20 nails thus far and see the damage to the teeth. That said, Id happily buy another for the price.

used twice in accordance with manufacturers instructions and has broken, both pins where you lever with the hammer claw snapped off when pressure was applied.

OK after a few mods
I found that both pull bolts you need to engage in the hammer claw were very quickly damaged to the point that after say 20-30 'pulls' they kept slipping through the v on the hammer. It looks like they are made from very soft poor metal. I removed the bolts in so I could continue with the job (removing nails from chipboard floor). Apart from that it worked well, the jaws that grip the nail were still in good shape after around 500 nails.Overall I'd say it did the job after some mods but could so easily have been a 5 star if they had specced decent material for the pull bolts.

It's fantastic. It took a bit of getting used to
I bought this to remove nails from a chipboard floor laid in the late 1970s. It's fantastic. It took a bit of getting used to, and I hit my hand with the hammer on one occasion, but once I got the knack every single nail came up quickly and easily. I highly recommend this for your toolkit!

fantastic
a brilliant tool.. thoughly recommend to get nails out of chipboard flooring. a useful tip drill an access hole either side to allow the claws easier grip under the nail head..
