Caravelle Watches are an excellent line of dress watches manufactured by Bulova. The company's history dates back over 120 years and started as the dream of Bohemian-born Joseph Bulova. When he immigrated to the United States in 1875; he immediately opened a little jewelry store in New York City. Caravelle is today's lifestyle standard for timepieces designed for the needs of the busy consumer. The tempered finish is 23-karat gold plate and operates with a precision quartz movement that is one of the most accurate in the industry. In 1875, a young Czech immigrant named Joseph Bulova set up shop in New York City, and a legendary American watch brand was born. Bulova was trained as a jeweler, and his expertise carried over into his watchmaking career, which began around 1911 with boudoir clocks and pocket watches, and soon evolved to include what was then one of the latest and most fashionable technological innovations: the wristwatch. Bulova introduced its first line of wristwatches in 1919. The company grew and prospered, and soon early radio and television ads were declaring, "America runs on Bulova time." In the 1950s, continuing its legacy of innovation, Bulova introduced Accutron, the first electronic watch, and the first breakthrough in timekeeping technology in over 300 years. The Accutron timing mechanism was later adapted for use by NASA computers and a Bulova timer was even placed on the moon to control transmissions of data. Bulova timepieces have kept official time aboard Air Force One and have also served as official timepieces for U.S. Olympic teams. Today, Bulova maintains its tradition of excellence in technology and design, offering a diverse collection of beautiful precision timepieces for every occasion.

Company Knows What Service Means.
Let me first say that this company is wonderful. I loved this watch. Had to take out three clips to fit, but when I got home to set it, I noticed it wasn't running. I could not get it to work. Sent Amazon a note. They said send it back. But, I didn't want to send it back. So, I contacted the company. Not only did they tell me not to send it back, but replaced it. No charge. No back and forth mailing costs. Now that's service. It works great. Sized down so now it fits great, too. I love this watch!

Fantastic little watch!
I needed a silver-tone watch after I recently replaced my yellow gold wedding ring with a white gold wedding ring. I love Swarovski crystals so this watch was the perfect one for me. I love the fact that every numeral is on the face of the watch, no lines or dots where the numbers should be. I needed to have 3 links removed and now it fits perfectly. I can hardly feel it on my wrist - it's so comfortable. It's a little larger than I imagined it would be but I actually love that I can read the time without my glasses. It looks like it should cost three or four hundred dollars. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Finally a watch I can see the numbers! Plus, it lights up at night. If you have trouble those tiny dots on your watch, this is the watch to buy. It was very reasonably price too;

Cute and Durable
I have never had a good as watch as this. I wear it to work everyday and bang it on almost everything and has yet to break. I normally kill the battery in watches that I wear but this one is going on a couple of months now. A few scratches here and there on the glass but still no cracks (knock on wood). Would definetely recommend this to anyone. The reason I did not give it a five out of five is because I never like giving it that high of a rating but really good watch for the price.

Love this watch
Love this watch. Not too heavy. Great face size for smaller adult wrists, but still fashionable. Easy to read numbers for those of us who need readers now (I can see it without my glasses). I did need to have the band sized but that is usually the case with watches without a buckle. Very pretty and the gems around the face are nicely appointed and Do Not look cheap.

A Winner!
I was looking for a watch to give a good friend as a nursing graduation gift. I wanted something attractive, with a face readable without glasses, and a second hand. I looked at many but there was usually some aspect that I did not like. This one had nice, clear numbers and a fairly large face, but was still feminine and good looking. I loved it when it arrived and my friend was totally thrilled. She told me that in the sunlight, the Swarovski crystals look like diamonds. It turned out to be the perfect gift.

Beautiful watch
My mother wanted a watch with all of the numbers on it, and not just dots or a few select number, and she wanted it easy to read. I saw this watch and thought it would be perfect, not only did it have what she wanted in a watch, but it was also reasonably priced. It is a Christmas gift and I am sure she would love it.
