This one goes for 13 but doesn't have hingesI bought a box from a home improvement store for 10 dollars and it had hinges.I'm sure both boxes function all the same, but it would be nice to have hinges so as not to lose the lid somewhere.Hinges also make boxes easier to close the top, because if the top is super hot, all you need to do is poke it shut with a stick.Some people might like a box without hinges though, so they can store the top elsewhere.But I prefer a box with hinges so that it is easier to tend to the cherry inside the box (if the fire goes out).
