I purchased the adapters to get the vertical one, as my vehicle has USB-C slots in the center console storage compartment that are near the top of the compartment. I store music on a small USB-C thumb drive so that I don't have to worry about playing it through my phone. Without the vertical adapter, I was worried about possibly breaking off the thumb drive, or worse, breaking the USB-C slot because of how far the thumb drive stuck out into the compartment. Now, it's far less of a concern because the adapter allows the thumb drive to sit more flush to the compartment wall, along with its also sitting close to the compartment floor.

These right angle adapters are exactly what I needed. They let me adjust the direction of USB-C cables without putting any strain on the ports. This is helpful in tight spaces when using a device while charging. They feel solid, connect snugly, and I haven't had any signal or charging issues. Highly recommend.

Had a problem with Dell laptops, the USB-C 'power' connector was vulnerable to walk-by damage.These cute little right-angle devices were the perfect solution.They give me a plug toward the BACK of the laptop, or the TOP of the laptop,both out of danger of damage from walk-by.Note they advertise "high-power" and "40 gigabit/sec" throughput,which is perfect for a laptop power cable.The laptop hasn't complained about "slow charging",and the devices themselves don't "warm up", bothconcerns I might have had.

Four stars for meeting all requirements. Doesn't _exceed_ expectations, so it doesn't get the fifth star.One of the problems I've run into when I want to use a device while charging it is that the USB cable may be pulled sideways in a sharp bend. This persistent pulling and flexing tends to cause cables to fail relatively quickly.Using these adapters makes the change of direction happen in a way that does not strain the cable or the connector.

Very helpful with my steamdeck dock and also my poor table monitors. Allowing for better cable management and tight bends. Everything worked and no delay latencies

So I have a Lenovo Legion go with a dock, I used this for the main host USB C from the dock to the Go. The dock has few usb dongles for keyboard and wireless mouse, and one USB C M.2 dock at 20Gbs connection. First thing i noticed, these adapters do get hot, and work ok for about 10 minutes, then randomly loose connection to my M.2 drive or anything plugged into the dock. This is while pulling 100W or so with the Go. I've tried both adapters, and they both do the same thing. if you are not trying to power something and transfer something, its ok and works as intended. But as soon as you draw more power through these adaptors and heat them up, they make things disconnect and reconnect. (side note, the stock power adapter does not have enough overhead to power the dock the accessories plugged into the dock, and the Go all at the same time, this is what made me buy a larger 140W USB Charger and these adapter for a cleaner look when not in hand held mode. All of the UBB C cable are rated at 40Gbps and 240W and work flawlessly without these adaptors.)
