2 Month Update: we are at 2 months on the food, and Willie continues to love this food- he still patiently sits and waits for us to put his bowl down and eats till he licks the bowl. His coat has continued to be shiny and dandruff/flake free and his weight is staying right where it should be. His vet is impressed with the change in his attitude towards food and his overall health and appearance. And poops continue to be as good as they have ever been. Since getting this Pork food, we have had a bag delivered directly from Muenster with the dried cheese added and another with the dried bacon... let's just say, Willie is a fan. Shipping from Amazon is easy and fast, just hoping it stays that way.This is for the Pork bag... and a little background. We have a big pup, that not only is picky but has allergies - chicken and gluten. Not just wheat, but gluten. And as we venture down the food issues, the bag get smaller, and more expensive. Fortunately a local pet food store has a liberal return policy - open bags can be returned up to 2 weeks after purchase. Lets just say we are on a first name basis with the staff. We walk in with another bag and we hear, "Willie wouldn't eat this either?" And we've tried a LOT of brands, both fancy/high end and not. The ones that he COULD eat, that were free of his allergens, he wouldn't eat or he would barely eat enough. He just never seemed to enjoy any of them.Going down the rabbit hole of foods, I ran across the Muenster Milling line. Of course no one carries it here, so enter Amazon. Before buying, I've emailed a number of questions and concerns to the company and they were VERY quick to reply, and helpful with info. Only available in the 30# bag we took a chance and placed an order.Once it arrived, a small sample was presented to our boy, and after the initial sniff, lick and then mouthing, he ate it. Usually he plays with new kibble, tests it, and is slow to actually eat anything new. This is the first food that he has eaten this quick. Not wanting to upset his system, we did the gradual switchover and here we are... 3 days after the 10 day switchover. And it's good news. For the first time, he comes over and sits by us while we prep his food. For the first time, he gets up and moves towards his bowl as we set it down. For the first time, he doesn't spew kibble all over the floor as he eats it. For the first time, if there is any kibble on the floor, he eats it (it used to be worse than legos walking on the floor around his bowl). And for the first time, he actually licks his bowl spotless clean . So that's a win!And just as good, are his poop's. FINALLY, he has formed, mostly firm poops. FINALLY. And, its not just the better poops, its also the fact that he no longer does the 'squat-n-walk' ... its one and done. Previously we've tried a ton of things... pumpkin, olewo carrots, clay, more probiotics than I can remember, and food, after food, after food.FINALLY we have a food he likes, will eat, licks the bowl clean and is digested by his system and gives him the good poop (never thought I'd be so happy about poop!). Granted, we are just 3 days into him eating just this kibble, but it's been a long road and this is by FAR the best he has done. If anything changes, I'll do an update, but we are super hopeful.And, if anyone looks into the company, you can get the food 'customized' by the company, and have things like bacon, cheese, salmon oil, elk, beef and more added into the food. Not thru Amazon, unfortunately, but it will be something we look into to keep the food exciting and tasty for him so he doesn't get bored with it. I do wish the kibble was bigger than the pea sized it is now, as it gets stuck in his big jowls pretty easy, but it doesn't seem to bother him.(We did try a small bag of the Ocean Fish Ancient grains, and the result was not as favorable, but we think he may have turned his nose up to it because he likes pork so much. Not just the kibble, but pork in general. I mean, if we put a chunk of pork and ribeye on the floor, he goes for the pork.)

Both of my dogs enjoy this food and are thriving on it. Other brands have caused my dogs to have skin issues but Muenster has never let me down. We have been feeding this food for a year now and I'll never go back to the other brands.

This product helps support a small business. It also happens to be a quality dog food which is great and our dogs eat it with no hesitation. They use ingredients that are actually good for dogs. They can customize you a dog food as well.

When the box arrived my dog knew it was something in there for him. So, I let him tear the box open and he was right... He was very excited about this one. He is extremely finicky, especially with the higher end foods. I have tried many, and he will literally go hungry. He will walk to his bowl, smell it and just stand there , then give me a look. I can hear his stomach growling, but still will not eat. I like this food, not only because of the ingredients, but I can mix his wet food with a scoop of this and the kibble is so small, it blends right in. So far I haven't had any adverse reactions, like stomach upset, vomiting, etc. I think this food may actually work this time. The only real issue I have is the price point, it s on the pricier end, and as much as I love my dog, I wouldn't be able to afford this on a regular basis.

I don't know if I got a spoiled bag or what, bag was factory sealed, so, whatever it is is from the factory, non returnable, now I have an expensive 30 lbs bag of trash. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS BRAND AT ALL, DON'T PAY HIGH DOLLARS FOR GARBAGE AND MAKE YOUR DOG SICK.

I did a lot of research to find a food that had good ingredients for my dogs.. They have been on this food mixed with fresh fruits and veggies. All of them have lost weight and are very healthy.
