I bought these units a while back as spares. I wish I didn't.Zero documentation or part numbers on-board per other reviews, which is normally fine for these common parts. Had to do extensive searching to find out just what this thing *might* be.It uses NEC protocol.Receiver unit outputs a single interpreted signal then promptly stops outputting messages altogether, so the lack of communication is not based on incompatibility with Arduino, as the first one is sent absolutely fine. Does this successfully each time the Arduino is rebooted. Snatched ELEGOO stepper example to ensure it wasn't my code. Did the same thing - received first command, then failed to provide anything to Arduino after.Onboard LED flickers on each remote control button push, indicating that the remote is sending a signal which is received by the receiver, but the receiver fails to forward it. So the whole kit is frankly worthless.Spend your money on something better.

I tested this product with a simple serial code and it was not working at all, the receiver was getting a signal but not producing the right signal, I dont know if it was just a defective product, but I definitely recommend getting a different brand.

No instructions, nothing, zero, nada none! A bunch of pictures on the ad. What the? Only one review that says it doesn't work! What is this seller trying to do? Not for me, I don't want a bad taste in my mouth, I am going to return it and I'll take note of the sellers name for any future considerations for anything and everything I want to purchase here.
