UPDATE 12/16/25 So a little over one month and it's still working perfectly. Lights are as bright as ever so batteries are doing the job. Whenever I pass by the room and look to the back wall where it's on a bookcase shelf - and I know this is kind of crazy, but seeing those large bright green numbers gives me a lot of pleasure. Part of that pleasure is because I recently had cataract surgery (one eye so far) and being able to see anything that far away is nothing short of a blessing. And also because I love the color green. Very happy with this purchase. Just got this yesterday. Of course I can't comment yet on the longevity so my rating is provisional, but my first impression is: What a nice little clock. It's exactly what I wanted. I chose the green digits and that's a nice /change from the kind of worn out looking red digits on the very very old clock we were replacing. The lights can be dimmed if wanted or necessary and so that's a good thing, although I like the lighting as bright as possible. The other thing I like is that it's battery operated and so doesn't take up an outlet. I tested the alarm and it's good. However, we're not using it for the alarm. Although, you never know when you might need an extra one. The clock is lightweight, but it's not flimsy and easily sets up. I did have to take a peek at the instructions for how to set the time. But it's a cinch. The other thing I like is that it's actually very cheerful to look at. Nice big numbers in a lovely bright green. Kind of like Christmas. All in all I think this is a very good purchase and hope it lasts a long time. Don't see why it wouldn't, but you never know. For now it's a big 5 stars. Time will tell, literally.

We really like this clock. We have had an electric clock with blue lights for at least 15 years. I noticed that this clock offers 3 different lights, so I did some research on it. I learned that red light is best for one's eyes. It is more gentle and less straining. The numbers are large, so we cannot make a mistake with the time. This digital clock looks good on my night table. It is not obtrusive. It is the perfect size. The material is not flimsy. The weight is perfect to keep it sturdy on the table. The quality seems really good. This is a great buy for the price. We recommend it.

Absolutely wonderful. Exactly as advertise. It appears to be good. Quality numbers are very large that you can read it from anywhere. The green color is nice and soothing. It’s not too bright and you can switch the make it dimmer or brighter. Just love it.

Clock is great, will say that the battery life is very short, for how many batteries it requires. It only lasted about a little over a month before a small symbol appeared showing it is low. Overall it’s a great clock that’s I’ve been looking for and it doesn’t get a glare in my opinion.

I purchased this battery-operated digital clock for my father because he needed something easy to read that runs on batteries. It uses four AA batteries and features large green numbers that are clear and easy to see, even from an angle or across the room. I really like that it’s battery-powered, since it allows him to place it wherever it’s most convenient without worrying about outlets. I’ve found myself using it as well because the display is so easy to read from a distance. Setup was fairly simple, although it took me a moment to realize that changing from AM to PM requires cycling through the time twice. The unit itself is compact and doesn’t take up much space, yet the numbers are impressively large and visible. I haven’t tried the alarm feature yet, but overall I’m very pleased with this clock and would consider ordering a second one.

The item arrived within the stated timeframe and very well packaged to protect it. I ordered one, but I liked it so much I ordered more. This clock is exactly what I wanted. The numbers are so big that you can see it across the room and I also like the fact that it does run on batteries so it's easily movable. There are other features to choose from on the back of the clock; however, since I just received it, I haven't had a chance to test all of them.

Big and great quality! Used AA batteries and the clock is bright and vibrant. Big numbers like we wanted.
