Better Features Than Original at a Fraction of the Price
I looked at a number of replacement keypads for my 12 year old Overhead Door Odyssey 1000 opener and this one seemed to have the widest compatibility. There was some confusion on my part with regard to putting my opener into Programming/Learning mode (it required pressing the Programming button twice). After that, programming the new keypad took trying the second of five possible ID codes for my Brand/Model door opener which was relatively quick and simple. The keypad works better than the original because the buttons work more reliably and also produce a "beep" when pressed. Also, the backlighting of the keys is much brighter and thereby more readable in the dark than the original. All this and a price less than half the cost of a replacement from the manufacturer makes me a satisfied customer.

Great product... very easy to install, programed quickly, no issues. Very happy with product. Would buy again, if needed. My only issue is, it won't connect to my car- built in garage door opener. Great product, great seller, great job!

BEWARE! NO CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER, NO SUPPORT, HENSE, NO 5 YEAR WARRANTY
Simetimes it powers up, sometimes it doesn't (no matter how new the batteries are). Also not compatable with your hand-held remote openers or in-car remote systems. Once you program the keypad, your other devices don't work and when you re-program your other devices then the keypad stops working. I got completely hosed by Amazon because they wouldn't take it back (over 30 days) even though they admitted there was no customer support or way of contacting the manufacturer. BUT THEY STILL SELL THE PRODUCT. I had to buy a Genie.

Better than the Original
I bought this to replace the original Genie keypad. Build quality is better, unit is heavier than original. The keypad has a brighter backlight than the original unit. The keys also beep when mashed, which is super nice. This keypad exactly fit the existing drill holes in the wall for the keypad being replaced. Easy to program. Very satisfied.

Very good product
Bought this a a replacement for an "Overhead Door" branded unit that failed repeatedly within a year of purchase. Initial sense is that this is a much better product. Easy to set up and gives much better tactile feedback than the old one. Hearing a beep as each button is depressed lets you know it took your input. So far I'm very favorably impressed. As a bonus it was significantly less expensive than the remote that it replaced.
