The only brand I’m buying now!
We’ve had this toy for over a year now and it has held up better than any other plushie dog toy we’ve had. I have a 50lb lab mix. She isn’t a super chewer but she loves an aggressive game of tug with a soft fluffy toy, which has resulted in the destruction of quite a few toys over the years. And once they have one little tear and she can see the fluff on the inside, she loves to dig allllll the fluff out. “Raccoony” has been one of my dog’s favorite toys since we got it a year ago, so it gets quite a bit of use. Despite that, there’s only been one tear in the outer layer, and the mesh on the inside has kept her from being able to tear out any fluff, so overall it’s stop in great shape! Now I doubt this would truly stand the test of time with a super chewer, but let’s be real, nothing really will! But these toys are soft, durable, washable, super reasonably priced for the quality, and plus there’s a ton of options! I probably won’t buy any other brand of plushie from here on out.

It's Sturdy and My Dogs Like It.
I have 2 dogs. One isn't rough on stuffies and he likes to snuggle them and the other is more of a toss it around and chew it kind of dog. It's difficult to find a stuffy that they both like and that will survive one while being good to snuggle for the other. I mostly buy them 2 different toys but then they both end up playing with all of the toys so I was hoping to find one that would be good for both instead of having to keep my more destructive dog away from the snuggling stuffies. I bought the "Fluff & Tuff Rocket Racoon" for them hoping it would fit the bill. It's a nice toy and it seems pretty sturdy but it isn't terribly soft which I was hoping the "Fluff" part was alluding to. But both of my dogs like it and play with it so I gave it 5 stars because it is a nice toy and the most important thing is that they like it. I will mention that I don't allow my more destructive dog to chew on the toy (or any stuffy) unsupervised and I take the toy away when she begins to attempt to tear or chew the toy apart so I don't know how it would hold up to serious attempts to chew it up. She has chewy toys and treats for that kind of activity anyway so she's not too put out by the removal of the stuffy. I think this toy is great for throwing around and general play. It's stood up to some light chewing that has damaged or destroyed other toys so it seems pretty sturdy. Overall I'm happy with my purchase and my dogs are happy to play with it.

Fluff & Tuff toys are AWESOME!!
My dog 🐶 and I LOVE these Fluff & Tuff stuffed toys!! This is Riley Kai Odie's 3rd 1. They aren't flimsy and cheap like most plush toys. These are durable. Many stuffed animal toys specifically made for Big Dogs are hard, inflexible and frankly not much fun for dogs to play with. Fluff & Tuff are NOT like that at all. They're just a tougher version of the soft toys they usually make for the under 25lbs category. No hard ropes inside or crinkle paper. The squeakers work great, too. The 1st 1 we got him for Christmas 3 months ago and he still squeaks and has no holes...no stuffing coming out. I don't know how they do it...but keep doing it!!! I'm going to continue replacing all of Riley's unstuffed, no squeaking, tail-less, limb-less, flattened out toys with the Fluff & Tuff toys. And if they want a suggestion...maybe a few even bigger. The otter, raccoon and bunny are great. But another 6-8 inches on a few varieties would be awesome. My 80lb Lab likes the BIG guys. Maybe a 24-36 inch snake. He packs his babies around everywhere. You can't beat the quality and durability of these toys. They're really awesome for my Blabberdor.

Very durable, even for a labrador
I have a 3 year old Labrador who likes to carry around her toys and nibble on them. I wouldn’t say she’s the absolute heaviest chewer I’ve ever seen, but she’s definitely not gentle. This raccoon lasted over a year for us! She finally chewed its face off, so I’m now purchasing a second one, but I don’t mind at all spending the money again to buy one because they last so long. I even washed our first one many times because it would get gross and it came out looking great.

Its a tough toy!
Amazing! This lasted a year with a very aggressive chewer and many times through the washer and dryer!!!! This is the only toy that has made it past 2 weeks aside from a braided 3 inch rope. (No squeeky toy) Soft and not nylon weave. Im here to buy another. This morning she finally got the head apart and got to the plastic squeaky part.

Magic? Nope. Fun and Durable? YES!
My sweet medium size dog is a real plush destroyer and is not really the ideal candidate to have any stuffed toys. She interacts with plush toys by chewing on them, which is not really the intent of the manufacturers. But... this little guy was cute so I wanted to give him a shot! My pup can tear through Tuffy brand toys with great efficiency, so I doubted this sweet looking raccoon would last a few minutes. I was delighted to find he is holding up okay. Because of the way the toy is made once she makes a hole it doesn't easily spread or get much larger than. The toy has a few small holes but is still pretty cute and functional. My pup is pretty focused on ripping his little nose off, so I am guessing that is what we will lose first. Is this toy magically able to hold up to any dog? Nope. It is meant to be played with and enjoyed, but not chewed on like a bone. That being said it is pretty darn tough compared to other dog plush on the market when abused.

Lasted longer than most
This racoon is so cute, and my dog loves it. Purchased in February for his birthday, the fluffy held up really well for weeks. Usually toys like this are destuffed and shredded in hours with my voracious chewer. The little guy is now headless, but the construction of the body is stitched separately and the squeaker is still in tact, so my dog still loves it. The fur does get crusty so I have washed it a couple of times. It is a little pricey for a plush toy, but it is well made and had a longer lifespan than any other toys like this I have purchased.
