OK I’m trying to think of a way to write this review where it seems like a real honest critique of these devices because everything I wanna say is going to sound like an overly enthusiastic fake ad. I bought a lot of garbage off Amazon in the past and some of my reviews I was shocked to see they wouldn’t allow me to publish but to be totally honest I’ve never purchased anything that was life-changing like these things are. I have a severe problem with a drop foot both feet for 3 years due to neuropathy, I had a fall at least once a month, had to walk with a cane, and was becoming more and more immobile which made my other health conditions worse. I struggled with the cost of the expensive orthotics and I read a lot of reviews like this one so I decided to give these a try. I was not optimistic when they arrived, they seemed flimsy and cheap. Im over 200lbs, 6’3” and wear 13s. How was this little piece of plastic going to make a difference much less hold up? So I gave them a try, the only difficult part was getting my shoe on over them I didn’t have to trim them at all since my feet are so big they were actually a perfect fit but once I got my shoes stretched out a little this wasn’t so bad. The small velcro straps fell off and are worthless, I don’t need them anyway they work fine for me with only the big padded top strap. Walking with them was a little awkward at first I just had to tell myself to walk natural and I learn to trust the orthotics within a few weeks it was unbelievable the difference. Zero falls or even close calls since I put these on. I felt much more secure, My walking has improved dramatically, I’m getting away from having to use the cane but I still feel naked without it. Even exercising is easier with these, my feet stay on my bike pedals and there is no fear on my treadmill they have helped me continue to lose weight (down 100lbs+ in a year). They seem to be holding together well even after wearing them 24hrs straight a few times, yep I even slept in them. There is nothing I have ever purchased for so little that has benefited me so much, literally a life saver.

Way lighter than my old brace but it isn't the best quality one of the straps fell off.

I suffer from a periferal neuropathy known as CMT. My desease has left me with severe "drop foot" in both feet making me very suseptable to tripping and falling. Fortunately however I have very slight abnormality in foot structure which is often common with this desease. Because my foot profile was close to normal, my neurologist suggested I try an "off the shelf" AFO to alleviate the drop foot. He suggested this over a custom made AFO which could cost several thousand dollars. My search for a device lead me to the BraceOn AFO sold by Amazon. I first bought one for my left foot to try it out. I was so impressed I soon bought one for my right foot. It takes a little getting used to and you need to experiment with different shoe sizes and inserts but the product really does work! It is light weight and with a little coaxing will fit in my sneakers. You may have to buy a half size larger sneaker or shoe but I have found it has really improved my walking at a very reasonable price. Updated comment: I have been using the product now for several weeks. It is great!! My only complaint is how can I get replacement calf pads? They are white and after many days of use will get dirty. It wouild be great if I could get a contact no. for BraceOn to contact them for repleacements.
