Very Good Controller - Great for PVP
I wouldn't usually write a review on a controller that I have been using for a month now, but I just have to put it out there that this is an exceptionally good controller.I have been a loyal Scuf consumer, but within 2 years had to purchase 2 Scuf Impact (PS4) controllers as the first one broke within 5 months and the second broke within 2 months with major thumb-stick problems such as drift movement. Even after sending it back to Scuf for a repair it didn't resolved the problem. So I took a huge risk on this controller, it took some time getting use to the left thumb-stick approx 2 weeks of gameplay (mainly playing Destiny 2, Fortnite and COD), but since getting use to the left thumb-stick location I could never return to a standard ps4 controller thumb-stick locations, its amazing just how comfortable it is once you get use to it.The Nacon Pro 2 controller is out of this world regards what you can do with it's button mapping customisation options and the userface of the software (for me on Mac) was exceptionally good and easy to use.The overall feel and build quality of the controller is solid, very robust and feels very comfortable in your hands with (plus I have very large hands) with a soft touch finish for very good grip. The underneath buttons are very comfortable and take very little finger muscle memory to use them, they are so neatly positioned directly where your fingers sit.Only gripe would be that it is wired and in some ways it would be better it was a fixed wire instead of a detachable wire, or better a wireless version of the controller, but that being said it is plenty long and you know your controller is always switched on.Overall a very good quality controller which I hope will bring me a solid 12 months of good use, if not longer, at half the price of scuf which their build quality in comparing is nothing compared to this Pro 2 Controller, if this controller lives up to it's use so far I will now be a loyal Nacon consumer.Highly Recommend to all PVP gamers out there, once you train yourself to get use to it, you won't look back!Additional comments: Thank you to Staraxe UK for providing stock and a great price of this controller and for Amazon with their superb purchasing experience - as always.

Good, not hideously expensive, replacement for PS4 controller
Almost perfect! I prefer the feel and layout of XBox controllers, and the flexibility of paddles that replicate the action buttons. I play mostly Destiny 2 (who am I kidding, I’ve not played anything else for years…), so being able to jump or slide without taking thumbs off the thumbsticks is really useful.Only thing is that I find it really difficult to reach the paddles underneath the controller. I don’t think my fingers are particularly stubby - I can use the XBox Pro controller without any problem - but they don’t sit comfortably under my fingers on the Nacom, which means I have to adjust my grip to use them. Sometimes that means the controller slips slightly as a result. There are only two paddles, which respond to both a pull and a push with your middle fingers, and I’m finding it easy to miss a push in the heat of the moment. The software to programme the controller - I downloaded the Mac version, which needed me to authenticate as the app isn’t certificated by Apple - isn’t very intuitive, and I couldn’t find instructions to swap between the four profiles you’re able to save, while using it.The USB-C connector seems reasonably secure - I’ve been using the controller for a few weeks without any issues. There is a warning not to wrap the cable around the controller for storage, while it’s plugged in - I guess this puts additional stress on the connector, which could lead to it gradually working loose. That was always the weak point of the XBox Pro controller - the micro-USB connector consistently worked its way loose over time on the three I’ve worked my way through, rendering it unusable.I haven’t used the additional weights to adjust the feel in the hand, but it’s nice to know I have that as a option if I ever do weights, and the controller starts feeling like a teeny tiny toy in my hands as a result.Overall, while there are some irritating shortcomings, it’s not bad. It’s a step up for the standard PS4 controller, but if they could sort out the paddle placement, or diameter of the grips, and the confusing app, it’d be pretty much perfect.

Wearing down over two years
I like the controller. It feels good and durable. However 2 years in it's worn down. There is a very noticeable amount of drift with the analog sticks and the R1 button has come loose and doesn't receive input. The back buttons on the controller have also worn down and have begun pushing in. Unfortunately it isn't as rugged as I'd have liked.

FAULTY - After a week!
The controller itself seems decent, however, the cable doesn't quite fit properly at the controller end - so if you move slightly it disconnects! I believe this is down to the cable being faulty, not the controller as I tried a different cable and it's fine! However, Nacon's customer service is shocking!! The response I got was...'this is a type-c cable available in any computer store' basically mugging me off and telling me to buy a new cable myself! Needless to say I'm now returning the item as it's unusable. Basically if it doesn't go wrong, I think you will be okay - but if it does, don't expect it to be resolved with their customer support anytime soon!I need to mention that Amazon customer support have been great dealing with the above.
