My son was happy to receive these.. he got so many good one’s

Was exactly 100 cards with several being duplicates. You would be better off buying a starter deck if you plan on playing the game as you would have a functional product to play with friends. I didn't expect this to be a playable product, but if one is going to repack cards in this fashion I would expect not to have so many duplicates in the mix. This isn't bad if you just want a bunch of essentially random cards, and the mix of rarity isn't the worst, but be aware that when these packs were put together the repacker opened a bunch of packs, kept the best ones, and put these in a pack to sell and recoup their money.

This deck comes with a ton of cards and has some cool metallic "foil" cards the kids were excited to see. I'm torn on how to review these because while they are not technically listed as Official Pokemon Cards, they are some of the highest quality knock-off Pokemon cards i've ever seen. It has 1 Legendary card the kids were excited to see and about 10 other rare cards that were cool. Then of course it had a TON of other just normal character cards. overall, the only difference that I could tell between these and official cards was the texture, thickness, and feel of the card stock. And unlike other similar sets I have found in the past, this one is NOT full of those 'trainer' or 'energy' cards and actually only give a dozen or so of them. Other similar packs i've gotten give 80% of those filler cards and then only 20% character cards which i think is a rip off especially considering they are not official cards. So if you are interested in getting these because you dont care if they are officially licensed or not, and your kids just want to be able to play without breaking the bank; then these are for you. I gave 4-stars because while they are "counterfeit" so to speak, they are of the highest quality and they are NOT being listed or sold as the real thing. So its not like anyone buying these is being "Duped" or anything. **keep in mind that these will not be permitted for use in Official Tournaments and are only for personal use at home with friends and family**

I was impressed with what came in this set but my husband was not. He says that it didnt come in the original packaging and so that kind of takes away from the actual collecting aspect of being able to on a chance get something rare. I on the other hand got this for my nephew for his birthday next year he is just getting started so I am going to put them in a book for him and I think he will love these. It comes with a wide variety of Pokémon, and I think for the price even without it being in the original packaging that it is a good deal. I bought 3 packs that come with maybe 30 cards total last year for the same price (small town and I thought that they would be in any store, and I was wrong) I think if you child is starting out then this is a good deal because they aren't going to have what is given if you are a collector or have been collecting for a while this is not for you.

The assortment of the cards is great for new players or new collectors. Younger kids like having a lot of different cards, without as much care to what they are or how rare any may be. My older nephew was able to pick out which rare cards were more desirable and immediately placed them in a protective sleeve.The cards are all different, and in like-new condition. The deck box itself however, was not protectively packaged for shipping, and came to me damaged on all corners. Luckily, my nephew did not want nor care about the box, and was fully engrossed in sorting the cards for his display cases and binders.

The set came nicely packaged and all of the cards are legit. However, I find that as an avid collector, it isn't really worth it for me. I think this is more suitable for a younger audience or even gifted as a starter set if you are interested in building your own deck.Overall the cards arrived in excellent condition and think you get a decent amount in this bundle.

My set included an ultra rare, five rare holos, six non-holo rares, 20 energy cards and the rest of the 100 were various commons and uncommons from the last four or so series in Sword and Shield. In terms of card value, ~$20 is pretty steep, but if we’re considering the amount of cards you’d get just buying $20 worth of boosters this is obviously a better value, including the guaranteed rares.

I ordered these for my son, who collects Pokemon cards. He was excited when he saw the deck. He immediately counted and sorted them. There were one hundred cards exactly, with one rare holo card, several holos and multiple basics. While we received several duplicates, there wad a good selection of Pokemon, energy cards for each type and a handful of trainers. This would be a decent deck builder. My son is happy with them.
