Busted at the seam, didn't last a year.
This part has been such a pain to find, and of course the replacement that we buy busted at the seam and flooded our kitchen floor. Do not buy this one unless you want to waste your money.

Does not fit GE Profile PDT715SYN0FS
This is not a review for the part itself. It looks and feels like a quality part. Other reviews stated this part will work with GE brand dishwashers. That may be true for some but it does not work for my GE Profile PDT715SYN0FS.

Part failed 6 months after installation. Came apart at the seam.
Replaced on a KitchenAid dishwasher after original part failed 6 years in. I replaced it with this unit and its come apart at the seams 6 months later. The angle being off is inline with other reviews, requires significant over tightening of the clamps to compensate. This feels better than the OEM part and more sturdy but apparently is not well constructed.

No special tools needed
I bought this because of the special tool needed to crimp the clamps. $20.00These clamps use a screwdriverI sleep better at night knowing it’s a better secure fit compared to just squeezing the clamps together.Water was leaking- no longer an issueLess then $20.00 fix and easy installationThank you

Used to repair GE dishwasher
This not an exact fit for the GE, but as other reviews have posted it is close enough and when clamped down it does work

Not as illustrated
Everything about this part was wrong...including the dimensions illustrated. It *is not* 1.2" by 1", rather something like 1.4" on both ends. Of course, this is a supposed to be a "Whirlpool" part being used to fix a GE dishwasher, that requires a right-angle fitting. The unit is 60 degrees, as opposed to 90 and not flexible enough even if the dimensions of the ports were as illustrated.
