I got this to try to reduce some space in my pack on my backpacking trips. Heading out of the country to do the TMB & needed to save some space. This unit works perfectly. It’s got a slight learning curve but it works amazing for a little unit that was so cheap. I sealed mine on my carpeted floor & just used the palms of my hands to keep pressure on the outer corners & it worked like a charm. I can even rehydrate my meals right from the bag as they are safe to add boiling water too. I bought a set of 2 rolls of vacuum seal for $17 & it works perfectly with this machine.

Vacuum only worked the first time, runs but no suction. Yes I was using it correctly. Sealing strip started smoking on second try. NEVER had that happen with my old Foodsaver. This was a huge waste of money and unfortunately too late for me to return. Would rate it 0 if I could.

This little guy works so well. I couldn't be happier with the performance. I don't really use the button that sucks all of the air out AND then seals. Instead, I use the button to manually remove the air and then quickly push the seal button, that way I can get out all the air to my liking. It has worked beautifully. Keep in mind that this works best with the premade bags and not the "make your own size" rolls. I highly recommend this and it takes up minimal room. Win, win, win!

This is my first vacuum sealer. The instruction is in very small print as is the words on the machine buttons.I had to use a magnifying glass as well as my glasses to understand the instructions. Seem to work okay once I used it.

I love this I buy meat in bulk and reseal the meat in meal size portions. Works great. Very easy to use.

Terrible food sealer. Stopped working within a few months. Only worked a few times then lost the ability to suction the bags. Don't Waste Your Money on This Machine

So- when I’m sealing it’s simply amazing. However- within 2 days so many of my vacuum sealed items were no longer sealed. I would not recommend this product. It’s a 50/50 if your product will stay sealed.

I've owned 4 vacume systems all Food Savers. All big bulky monsters that worked fine,did their job . Problem was I wouldn't have any counter space to work if I left them out.Additionally it was a pain dragging them out for one little reseal of packaged cheese for example. Anyway that's the main reason I opted to go smaller.The bonus was when I saw how great this little machine seals,even tighter than those $300 monsters I had put up with for 30 years !
