Good device let down by poor instructions
When the HUD head unit/speedometer arrived, the first thing I did was read the instructions …………. and I quote :-“1. Vertical short press (dial press to release): confirm the options after entering the Settings menu2. Vertical long press (hold the dial and hold for 2 seconds to release): enter the setting, adjust and press the vertical long for 2 seconds to save the exit3. Left dial: switch the simple mode, the standard mode into the set after moving the option4. Long left dial: dial left for 2 seconds, turn off the buzzer to alarm, and dial left again for 2 seconds to open the buzzer5. Right dial: switch the atmosphere light color, and move the options after entering the SettingsThe above is exactly as the wording appears in the instruction leaflet.Understand it ? No, neither did I !! I didn’t have a clue. Not a great start I might say.Anyway, I have persevered, and have got the unit set up in the car. The positive points are that it is very clear, and they display is bright – much clearer than the speedo in the actual car. The compass seems to be fairly accurate. However, I cannot get the display to change from KM/h to MPH.Living in the UK, I much prefer to have the speed shown in MPH rather than KM/h, but try as I might I just can not get it to stay on MPH. Referring to the instructions is a complete waste of time and effort. So, to sum up, the product itself seems very good, but it is let down by poor instructions resulting in not being able to use it to its full effect.

GPS can be slow
After a few uses, clarity and convenience come to mind. Day or night, the clarity remains unaltered, my eyes firmly on the road, the data appearing just at the edge of my gaze. GPS speedometer - accurate, the interface - manageable even in the dusk. A convenient piece indeed. Not flawless though - positioning needs trial and error to achieve an unobstructed view, which took some time. GPS can be slow
