Oxy-Propylene torch
It does work for an Oxy-Propylene torch but you must add a dash of oxygen to get it to light. It will not ignite the propylene by itself! Works great once you figure that out.

Garbage complete garbage!
I used this striker 15 times until today. At least 1/2 of those uses did not produce a spark! Today, not only did it not produce a spark the trigger handle flopped around like a part was missing. There is nothing more frustrating to me as a MacGyverer than buying a tool that should last a lifetime and go to use that tool, that is for all intents and purposes BRAND NEW, and have it fail so prematurely it didn’t even pay for itself!!!! I’d highly recommend purchasing a better brand!!

Best striker ever!
Love this thing! I hate old school flint strikers. This thing makes multiple sparks that ignite torches easily. This is actually my second one. First one still works fine and is many years old, but I needed another for at home. Best striker out there in my opinion.

I like it.
I like this way better than the flint style sparker.

Acetylene torches only
Works great with acetylene torches but not at all with propane or map pro.

Good to bad
When I first got this striker it was working great. Then after about a week and half it stop working. The trigger (handle) stopped recoiling back into to load position causing no spark.

Much better than old flint strikers but not reliable
These things are awesome when they work, when they get wet they don't seem to work until dry and if you drop it it seems to not work, I had to take one apart and mess with it to make it work again and it's finnicky
