Little Venice Cake Company 8.5-inch Professional Revolving Turntable Tall, Lace White

I wanted a taller turntable and particularly liked the look of this not just for being taller than most but also for looking like it'd be a pretty display stand. It's certainly tall, pretty and sturdy but it doesn't have any grip on top so expect your cakes to be slipping and sliding around as you try to decorate. I can't understand why it wouldn't have a grip surface. I'd rather it come with grippy bits than having to buy my own.

I bought this as a base for an entry in a craft competition. It is ideal of the job. Very smooth turntable.

Brilliant and much better to use than my old one and it turns really well as i do a lot of large cakes all shapes and sizes.
