I purchased the bar for travel, and it was a perfect solution to reduce weight and condition my natural curly hair.

It smells great and conditions my hair without leaving a film. Afte using, my hair feels and looks healthier.Huge fan if this product!

I have thick long long hair. I am 5’7” and my hair goes down past my butt. I got this to health restore some health to my hair after a rough period or not wanting to take care of my hair. I have been using it for over a month now and I can not figure out if it is working or not. It is very hard to get worked into my hair. You definitely need to let your hair sit under the water while applying. I could not get it to work into my hair even with it wet unless I was standing right under the shower head working it in at the same time. It also is kind of small so it slips out of my hands easily and given the amount of hair I have it took a while to get it through all my hair. Over all it smells nice and seems to last pretty long.

I’m allergic to regular hair conditioner. So far I love this product. My hair isn’t frizzy and I can run a comb through it without tearing out a dreadlock matt or snarl.

I discovered this conditioner bar when I ordered the shampoo bar of the same brand. I thought this would be a great conditioning tool to use. It has actually been both unique and effective. The bar is pale blue and round with defined edges, and it comes wrapped in Bootleg Bath's "newsprint" paper, in a square light cardboard box. The bar's key ingredients are biotin plus rosemary, which gives the bar a light astringent and woodsy scent. It's designed to be paraben- and sulfate-free, and pH-balanced. (I prefer to use pH-balanced products in my hair.)This conditioner bar is to be used after shampooing/rinsing. You can do this by either applying the bar directly to hair strands, or by lathering it in hands and then applying that to hair. I tried both methods but for my shoulder-length curly hair, it worked better for me when I lathered the bar in my hands and applied that to strands, via the "praying hands" method (recommended for curls). I was able to work the conditioner in well that way. Then, I rinsed my hair with warm water and had no trouble getting the conditioner out.It did seem to me that I needed to rub the bar in my hands for awhile to get what felt like enough conditioner to place in my hair. I did eventually do so after repeating that process. But it didn't seem like I was using up the bar; it basically looked just like it did when I began. I liked the way my hair looked and felt after using this bar. I'm very happy with this product!

I love the convenience and simplicity of traveling with shampoo and conditioner bars - no liquids to limit, and they take up less space - but I cannot tolerate wheat nor fragrance, and this bar contains both. Despite having rosemary essential oil, which smells great on its own, this company felt the need to also add perfume, which is highly allergenic, and wheat, which is a top-8 allergen. Neither were declared on the listing, and I cannot use this product.

Love this conditioner bar. My hair styles and smells great. The bar lasts a long time and there’s no icky residue left behind like others I’ve tried.

This is an interesting product I had never heard of before bar soap for your hair. It leaves your hair feeling fresh and clean without any residue left behind. It has a great scent and I highly recommend this product.
