If you’re fishing on a budget, it’s an amazing rod
Has good sensitivity and a great back bone. I use it for stocked trout, and I can feel every bite even when they are lethargic, I normally use a St. Croix but I bought this for a longer rod and I love it

Best Cheap Trout Rod
Great ultralight for trout fishing. Action is good for bait or lures, but too slow for jigs. I also felt that the butt of the rod could be better since it is made of hard plastic, but plastidip solved that issue. Overall, it is the best value rod for this price, even with its flaws.

The description is not accurate. Listed as 702ULB. This is a 702LB. NOT AN ULTRALIGHT ROD Reading the comments, I’m not the first to report this, but it’s still advertised incorrectly.

Wow really impressed.
This rod is pretty light weight and has great UL action. With a full 7 ft length it really cast well and is very sensitive for the action and length.

Happy & Impressed
I took this rod on a cold early season trip and I am very happy with it. Nothing was damaged and the two pieces joined nicely with no issues. It was extremely easy to handle and hike with. I paired it with a 2000 series Pflueger spinning reel and some Seaguar braided line. Wow, did it launch my light weight rig nicely. The sensitivity was great and it was a lot of fun landing the smaller fish. I will be buying another rod, of course, and I highly recommend it!
