You'll need to buy your own bulb.I'm still not sure if packaging and ad were misleading or simply too easy to infer the bulb came with.Buyer beware.However, got appropriate bulb at PetCo and lamp works great.Also purchased light stand separately.

Sun light.
I couldn't get the clamp to attach to the light, so I just had to rig it to hang up. And then it was all good! I turned it on and my birds seem to like it. :-)

Great quiality
I did not give a rating for longevity because i have not had it for that long. Quality is great and it helps increase UVB in cage.

I don’t have snakes but!
I didn’t buy this for reptiles. I bought it because I have Psoriasis on the palms of my hands and fingers with a 150watt bulb for around 5 min sessions twice daily. My Doctor told me that photo therapy helps. I couldn’t afford the photo therapy lamp at $250 so I use the sun when I can but not much UVB in the sun in winter so this was the next best thing and it really does help keeping the Psoriasis under control.. I’m sure it’s good for snakes too lol

Big dome and reflective, very nice for aquarium turtle tank
This light is huge, it's a lot bigger than the heat lamp dome we have, but I like that there are options to clip to the side of the tank or hang. My turtle likes having this on him along with the heat lamp. The reflective surface makes it super bright, so hopefully it will help him while he's healing from secondary nutritional hypoparathyroidism that's made his shell start falling off and turning black.

As long as you don't get a defective one, its great.
Purchased this product exactly twelve days ago, and it already just stopped working? It simply just turned off, went to inspect it - the light bulb is fine and everything. I know it's the product itself since the switch that usually lights up when its turned off, wasn't even working - completely dark. Don't get me wrong, when the product doesn't just... stop working completely, it's awesome. Looking at other reviews it doesn't seem to be a common thing so I won't give it a terribly low score, but personally, I'm rather dissapointed.

just what I was looking for
I was looking for a dome to fit my reptisun 5.0 bulb and it fits perfectly. The mirror inside is great too. I've only had it for a few days, so I haven't really experienced any technical issues or anything. Also I keep mine sitting on top of a screen, so I haven't bothered with the clamps.
