Bought a cheaper alternative to this and found after a short period of use on the rowing machine ended up with a sore backside. Battled on with this for quite awhile and finally decided to buy one of these and after a few sessions I am pleased to say it is like night and day. Best money I have spent as now I enjoy what use to be quite uncomfortable.

More comfortable than I thought!
65+ year old male here with bilateral sciatica. Bought a rowing machine for myself for Christmas and the seat is a hard polymer and can be a little tasking on the butt bones. I started looking for a compatible one, nothing for my particular equipment, and saw this, thought it would be suitable. What an amazing difference this makes!!!! Stress on the glutes and hip bones minimalized, posture slightly corrected, firm but very giving and quite comfortable. And the straps stay secured so there's no wiggling about. If you have an off-label rower with a hard seat, I give this a 11/10 recommendation.
