Better Brita quality in glass
I didn't know that there is a glass option for brita, my friend recommended me to buy it. Very good choise, l like it. Looks chic. No smell in the water.

Glassy water filter.
Great improvement on the all plastic jug.. Easy to keep clean and water tastes great. Also don't have to descale kettle or coffee machine anywhere near as frequently. If you have a coffee machine you need one of these. Only drawback is it doesn't fit easily in the fridge door. Doesn't bother me but other family members would prefer that.

Good water filter jug
Good water filter jug, the outside is glass, the inside where the filter sits is plastic, so the water still sits in plastic on the inside if that’s what matters to you. No leakage, the water tastes good.

Fantastic
Arrived quickly and well packaged. Three filters are included. Read instructions because of the traffic light system that has to be installed in the lid. Wash every thing before installing. Solid construction, easy to put together and install. Light when filled up and although the lid is plastic it's good that it's glass which is better for the environment. Definitely pricey because of the glass. Like that a yellow light flashes as a reminder that you need to get a filter and red flash means change the filter, which means you won't have to remember when the filter needs a change.

The Holy Grail of Hydration (and Coffee Machine Peace Talks)
Bought this BRITA Glass Water Filter Jug because our coffee machine's built-in filter was about as useful as a chocolate teapot. Enter this majestic jug — sleek, glassy, and surprisingly fridge-friendly. I was expecting something the size of a medieval urn, but it actually fits right next to the milk like it belongs there. It’s only 2.5L, but somehow doesn't hog space like that one flatmate who spreads their hummus across three shelves. Now our coffee machine has stopped sulking, the water tastes like it was blessed by alpine monks, and we feel unnecessarily smug about our hydration choices. We use it exclusively to fill the machine, and I half expect it to start purring every time we do. Honestly, this jug is probably the most refined thing in our kitchen. It’s glass, so we feel classy. We’re not. But still.Highly recommend if you like your water filtered, your coffee smooth, and your fridge slightly more sophisticated than it was yesterday.

Pointless and Disappointing Product
This is advertised as a "Glass" jug, but about 40% of it is PLASTIC. Whilst the main jug is indeed glass, the large Filter Funnel inside which holds the cartridge is pure plastic. So what's the point of buying this? I was looking for a GLASS water filter product, to avoid ingesting micro-plastic particles into my body. If the inner filter funnel is all plastic, it is constantly going to be in contact with the water, defeating the whole purpose of buying this in the first place. This product is ill-conceived, overpriced and NOT even a 90% glass product. It is also disappointingly small, not as large as many other Brita Plastic Jugs. I don't want to have to refill it several times a day. Many people have pointed out that it is fragile. I can't comment on that. It does look quite pretty AND IS ELEGANT. BUT USELESS. I trusted Brita so I did not read the negative comments. before buying this. I assumed it would be made of glass. Having unpacked it and checked it, it is now back in its carton to be returned. Waste of time and money.Sorry Brita, as a reputed and trusted company, surely you can do better? I don't want to dump more dissolved micro-PLASTICS into my body.I am surprised that BRITA do not answer to any of the reviews, especially the critical points raised by so many purchasers.
