Purchasing a mount online made me nervous because so many are too cheaply made to trust my with my computer. This mount is very sturdy. Took two people to install (one to hold, one to drill). It easily holds my laptop and heavy Dell P2422HE monitor exactly where I put them. No sinking or shifting. Tucks away nicely. Highly recommend purchasing an LED light bar to punctuate the set-up.

Honestly, I wish it would be more flexible with where you can mount it due to heaviest of the weight I recommend mounting it to a stud on the wall.

Metal parts are very sturdy but made of 40% plastic and the plastic is very unsteady. Also, one of the arms does not go down, it has a “hydraulic” arm that just pops back up so the functionality is weird. Very space saving so works for what we need it for.

So in all reality this seems pretty stout I installed it to hold a laptop next to a laser cutter and a router the problem is that unless you have a 15 inch half pound laptop the laptop bracket is utterly useless it's about the size of your palm and has the cheapest crappiest plastic brackets on Springs it shot one of my laptops out thank God that one didn't break but another one broke a screen because the designer didn't realize you cannot put tension on the back of an l without causing it to go at an angle unless you make it extremely rigid well 5 Cent plastic is not extremely rigid so essentially it creates a squeeze point that shoots every laptop that is not tapered toward the keyboard out repairs cost me $500, save your freaking money. I could overlook this poor design if it had some way to strap the laptop in that didn't cover every keyboard but again when you have a bracket that's the size of your palm and a laptop that's two and a half or three times the size of that there is no way to go around the computer unless you go through the middle of the keyboard. It's just a horrible combination of poor design and cheap materials. If these brackets were metal it wouldn't be an issue or if they had a wraparound at the top it wouldn't be an issue because when they pulled back it would pull the laptop down into the Cradle instead they're completely open at the top. I've had to completely redesign them and 3D print them out of nylon to make the thing functional then when I took it apart the plastic housing over the Springs cracked I have never seen something so cheap in my life.

I love Vivo. Every product of theirs I've gotten has been strong and sturdy. This one is no different. From ease of installation to ease of use, this product worked well for my laptop and monitor. The joints are so strong you don't have to worry about them failing. Once mounted into studs, these aren't going anywhere. The only thing I'd change would be using the pneumatic arm on top, too.Great product.
