Fantastic value tweezers.Super sharp and did the job needed perfectly.Very pleased they came in a small pouch too for protection.These were bought for ingrown hair removal not tick use so multifunctional. Easy to use for this purpose and the sharpness and pefect point is great.Fantastic quality and worth the extra cost as slightly more than the high street shops.Would happily buy again.

I would like to have bought the smaller key ring version but that wasn't available. The hooked pincer design works better than conventional tweezers and should work to remove ticks of any size.

Unlike many tick tweezers these are thin enough to remove even the tiny ticks we get around here(<2mm). The prongs fit under the body and pull the tick out without squeezing its body contents into the bite. You have to keep pressing while pulling but at least you can get it out without squishing it. They come in a nice slim sheath for storage."Silver" just refers to the colour not the material they are made from, just in case anyone thought otherwise!

Work really well for removing any size of tick - as an ecologist, I get a lot.

Having recently had to remove 2 ticks from my husband, I was very pleased we had these in the cupboard! Used in combination with a magnifying glass you can be confident of grabbing the right part of the little critter and not leaving anything behind 🤮. Having attempted it first with the plastic 'twist' kind of tick remover with a notch in, I would much rather have these specialist tweezers as my weapon of choice since the ticks are so tiny you need precision, which these very fine nosed, angled tweezers give you.
