Therapy For Parkinson's, Medication, Exercise And This Book
This book brought light to my darkest days having just been diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. I laughed and was inspired. The author has a knack for writing. She's hilarious!!! I could not put this book down and just kept saying one more chapter. If anything can bring you up from such a dreadful disease, it's this book. Can't wait to read her other books. I have a new favorite author!!!!

Vikki Claflin is hilarious, insightful and a talented writer
I originally found Vikki's blog via a Parkinson's website. My husband has Parkinson's, and I wanted to see what she had to say. I quickly became a huge fan. Her writing is laugh-out-loud funny, and she artfully gives voice to all sorts of issues that just rumble around in your head. I follow her blog, and also follow her on Facebook. I recently purchased this book on my Kindle, is full of her positive life outlook, fabulous humor, and how she deals with early onset Parkinson's. Highly recommend, whether you or a loved one has Parkinson's, or you just need to be inspired by a wonderful woman.

Love Vikki Clafin's books. Ordinary things in life could have you down at the moment and she'll make you see there is humor in it and she is uplifting and fun to read.

This is a great book.
This is a great book...humor and knowledge and well written. My Hubs was recently diagnosed with Parkinson's. This book seemed like something that would be easy to understand, as we were both filled with so much medical information, it was difficult to grasp everything. After I read it, I convinced Hubs to at least start it and see if he liked it...well, it was perfect. He was able to see humor and we could talk about the changes for both of us. Thank you so much Vikki

A must read.
PD is difficult to deal with but Ms Claflin brings out the lighter side. A must read. Thanks for showing us that it doesn't have to be so serious.

Grinning and gigging through tough days...
After following Vikki's blog for years, I am so happy she finally put her book together. She looks at life, the highs and lows, through fun-house mirrors with a twist of hilarity. Even before being handed the dirty end of the stick with a Parkinson's diagnosis, she's had her readers giggling and snorting as she faced all the craziness of "normal" daily life. With the addition of a frustrating, pretty frightening diagnosis, her good humor and natural sense of irony has kicked into high gear! Lucky us: we get the clean end of the stick - and it's so much fun! Erma Bombeck, move over; you've got company!!!

With a father suffering this terrible disease it was meant to show me some humour ...
With a father suffering this terrible disease it was meant to show me some humour in the situation. Honestly I tittered from time to time but this isnt hilarious, I guess depends on your perspective..Well written though and as a writer I liked Vikki...Aspects of the book will stay with me on a serious level such as those parts offering advice on What NOT to say to someone with symptoms of PD etc. Good book though and worth a read but didnt find it hilarious
