Was wanting an Altra style everyday wear style shoe, these are super comfy, love the style, bonus for the tiny metal boot style eyelets on the shoe lace exit.

I purchased for my husband as a work shoe. His workplace is pretty casual but sneakers are not acceptable footwear. These have more of a shoe look and pass just fine as casual shoes fir his workplace. They are comfortable and lots of room in the toe-box. He’s up and down and does some walking throughout his day.

All my toes could go free range inside these shoes they feel amazing

Bought these for work and casual shoes. Would recommend Altra High Peak and Superior runners to anyone.

I had seen some reviews mentioning that the sole separated from the shoe within a month so I was worried about the quality control. So color me surprised when the first signs of wear weren't the soles, but instead a small patch near the heal cup that started coming apart and showing the fluff inside. Nothing wrong otherwise but I barely had them a month when they started opening up.As for the fit and comfort, these are probably the best shoes I've ever worn. My toes feel free, my feet don't ache one bit in them. I've worn wide Brooks Ghosts and Hoka Bondis for years now, and while great, they just felt a bit wrong. These Altras are amazing. I hope they can do better on quality or I can find a shoe that stands up better to daily wear.

I really like these shoes! I typically order a wide shoe but because this shoe is actually shaped like a human foot (go figure) a wide size is not needed. Very comfortable for flat trail walks/runs but my heel slides to one side or the other on cross slopes. I could use a little more arch/pronation support but that probably has more to do with my age than this shoe.

Great shoes. A better version of the non-trail ones, which wore out quickly. These are holding up better.
