Einhell Cordless Random Orbital Sander 18V PXC Without Battery

First time using an orbital sander, and I wasn't disappointed. Used it with various grades of paper to sand down tired & weathered teak bench and it did an excellent job, and it looks almost new again. Great value if you are adding to your existing Einhell range and you already have the battery and charger (as not supplied with this unit). It has various speed settings to suit your needs, reasonably comfortable to hold and doesn't vibrate too much when in use to cause discomfort over a long period of time, but I tended to rest & readjust position every couple of minutes to break things up. I used 2 x 4ah batteries which performed really well throughout the sanding process over about 60 mins and still had some charge left upon completion. It comes with a small dust bag that attaches to the dust extraction point, but if you remove this and attach a vacuum cleaner it does a great job of keeping the dust to a minimum. I use an old vacuum cleaner for dust extraction which worked perfectly. Overall very happy with this addition, seems to be another strong & well built piece of equipment from Einhell that will get good DIY usage. Also, good warranty from Einhell when registered online.

I bought an Einhell garden set a while ago, so have got hooked into the family and have several batteries and chargers... If you're the same, this is a quality bit of kit and saved my bacon on a door that wouldn't shut. Minimal dust so I guess the extractor works!

Reliable cordless sander for light to mid‑range DIY jobs. I use it for smoothing trim, prepping doors, and touch‑ups. Dust extraction is handy but not flawless, and you’ll drain your 4 Ah battery surprisingly fast under load. Still, for the price, it’s a brilliant addition to any Power X‑Change kit. Highly recommend!

Awesome bit of kit and if you're already 'Einhelled' up then it makes sense because you'll already have a battery and charger. Easy to use, really effective and mine was £20 cheaper on Einhell's Amazon shop then anywhere else (including Screwfix and Toolstation). Any generic sanding discs will fit and the holes line up perfectly for dust extraction (which actually works). Top marks for this one *****

Einhell Power X-Change Cordless Random Orbital Sander is a pretty neat little sander. It is very easy to switch out the battery and additional batteries can be purchased on Amazon. I have Einhell X Change batteries from other products, so they can be interchanged very easily. As with most Einhell products, they are well made and very durable. The dust collector and adjustable speed control are very handy. I also purchased the SATC 125mm Sanding Discs 72Pcs Orbital Sander Discs Hook and Loop 125mm Sanding Pads and they fit perfectly. All in all, it is a good orbital sander and powerful enough to do most jobs!

Leuk apparaat voor huis, tuin, en keuken klusjes maar hij doet niet veel. Als ik hem vergelijk met mijn ruim 30 jaar oude Bosch op 220v dan zijn de prestaties om te huilen. Hij doet het wel maar als je hem uitzet en je wrijft het apparaat over het hout doet hij even veel.
