This stuff is waaay too sticky to use straight out of the container. I took a glarp of it and smeared it on a sacrificial baseball... then when I need a little more grip, I rub some off of the ball. I am NOT a pitcher, but the it made the ball feel like the best grip you ever had on the best day of your life. I can see why Pro's have been using it I also threw some on my bat and batting gloves. I couldn't let go if I wanted to... makes it easier to hit the ball hard due to the lack of tension in your hands... definitely a big notch over regular pine tar! Can be removed with baby oil and some effort if you get it on your skin. Works really well with duct tape wraps.
