Sea Creatures (My First Search and Find, 4)

My sea animal obsessed 3 year old LOVES this book. We love to spot all the different animals hiding.

My grandson and his parents really enjoy this book . My Grandson loves it .

I've been meaning to review these books for a while as there's so much more to them than meets the eye! I initially purchased for my one year old and, even as a toddler then preschooler, my son still enjoys these. At first, my son would simply tell me the names of the creatures as it was a bit tricky for him to find the matching one in the busy scene - it was great for his vocabulary. But as he grew, he was able to find creatures that match (but weren't exactly the same) - if you look closely, you will see there might be several of the same animal on the page but only one is identical to the one you're looking for. As he got older, I'd challenge him to find the animal that was facing a certain way or in a certain pose and exactly matched the picture. A small point but an example of how the book can last longer than you think and grow with your child! As he got older, he was able to answer the questions that are printed at the top too that add another layer. And even just recently, after owning the books for a few years, I discovered that there's a hidden character on every page! This detail is printed on the back of the book and invites the child to find "Dangerous Dave" and identify what he's doing that could get you into trouble. It's truly the book that keeps on giving :-)

Was impressed when it arrived. It's much bigger in size than I thought and hardback which is great. The little fella is 4, he loves it and uses it everyday. Not to complicated like wheres Wally and the artwork is simple and with nice vibrant colours. Now to get the rest of them for his collection.

Bought this book for my son for a holiday. He's 2 and a half and he loved this book. Able to pick sea creatures out and kept him entertained for hours!

My grandaughter loved this, I also bought the animals one also. Very good value and personally we have had fun looking at all the colourful pictures.

i bought this for my nephew as part of a birthday gift. he absolutely loved it as did older sibling, the images and colors are so vibrant and enticing. its a wonderful book, so much to see and find time and time again.

Our daughter LOVES this book! We take it everywhere we go - in the car, on holiday, and out to eat. She has spent hours looking at the various scenes and finding the different sea creatures. It has widened her vocabulary and helped her to learn more about ocean life.

Our toddlers LOVE this book. It is great quality, and it’s one of the few board book search and finds that we’ve found that is more advanced. Our older daughter seems to find new creatures in the background every time she looks through it. We’ve loved using this as a travel book, and it has provided hours of entertainment for both of our daughters.
