Wolf Garten RSEN Anvil Pruner

This pruner gets' the job done. The blade is good and sharp. The handles are little smaller than the usual pruners we can get from a local hardware store, which of find to be great! I don't have tiny hands but when wearing garden gloves, it makes a difference. Definitely recommend for home gardening.

These are not really high quality, but the sliding action of the blade as it closes on the anvil reduces the squeeze force required thus allowing you to cut larger limbs with less effort. I confirmed this several years ago by actually measuring the force requirements for cutting various sizes of hardwood dowels with Wolf and other brands without this feature.

Well-designed, made from quality materials, these clippers will last a long time and will be one of your favorite gardening tools. I've tried all the other styles and brands; these are some of the best.

I've already used these anvil pruners a great deal. They're very well engineered and prune dead branches effectively.
