Does the job easy to put on and it works well. My wife doesn’t complain about the air hitting her face while sleeping this vent was right in front of the bed.

This can not be used on an A/C window unit. It is not designed for it.

I wanted to like it because it seems that the air can be adjusted to different directions. I had to return because it was so difficult to attach to the grills of my air vent.

Our couch lines up with our window unit, so I ordered this so we wouldn't get blasted by freezing air while watching TV. I read a review that stated this could not be used with a window unit, but risked it and ordered anyway. I'm glad it did. As you can see by my pictures, this device absolutely 𝗖𝗔𝗡 work for a window unit. Here's how to do it. Hold the deflector towards the AC ready to install. Unscrew the plastic bolts on the threaded plastic arms counterclockwise so the flat plastic end flaps are able to be completely flattened out. Feed the flat end flaps through the vent and using your finger or a flathead screwdriver, straighten the flaps vertically once inside the vent. Tighten the plastic bolts clockwise until the flaps are able to remain vertical without assistance, effectively sandwiching the vents between the vertical plastic flaps. That's it! I've temporarily placed a folded cardboard tube under the plastic flaps for added support of the device. Not the most attractive, but this deflector works without glue or tape. The design is clever in the way that the individual curved deflector pieces are each on a ball joint so they are able to face whatever direction suits you best. It works well but it's a bit bulky, so 4/5 stars.
