So yeah, I developed a large wound on the back of my right calf and down right above the ankle. Thanks to my body's inability to heal as fast as normal people, my Doc sent me to the Wound Care clinic. For the next 6 weeks I have a very well wrapped leg that can't get wet. Sure, it gets changed twice a week, but they were very adamant about not getting the bandaging wet. Almost put the fear of God in me.I bought two different leg coverings (I refuse to give up showers to keep the bandaging dry!), and this one works the best. I have plenty of room for my very fat calf, and whatever they made it from isn't flimsy, and is thick enough to where I didn't feel like it was going to rip when I walked the 20 steps to the bathroom. The seal was tight, and not a drop of water got in. Definitely a great value for what I paid, and it will be well used over the next 6 weeks!

I have foot, ankle to knee cast. This was my 3rd attempt to get something to make over heel, foot. All wete difficult and would not get on. Stayed dry too! This was the winner. The others were more for sprains, not casts. Good product for those who need.

Got this for my husband who had a knee replacement. We did cut the foot part off as it doesn’t matter if his foot gets wet. This sleeve worked really well & kept the entire knee, lower part of thigh & leg below the knee completely dry. I highly recommend this protective sleeve.

It works as advertised over my boot. Pull it over your knee and then down a bit to get a waterproof seal. The rim can catch on the velcro strap hooks as you put it on or off. Put your fingers inside of the rim to push the seal inside a bit to get it past the hooks while putting it on. You have to work it around the heel a bit as well. I have a thinner plastic bag from the orthopedic office that has similar installation issues and is not as sturdy.

This was the second type of cast protection in using. This one is great! Very easy to put on over the big splint I have, and it sits securely and keeps my leg dry in the shower.

We ended up with a broken ankle in the house that required surgery. After the surgery we were told to keep the bandages on and dry so we purchased this. It was stretchy enough to slide over the bandages without hurting but tight enough to keep everything inside dry during showers. It was exactly what we needed. We tried 2 other products - 1 was much shorter than advertised, the other failed to keep water out.

Worked great. Patient is a larger person and this was easily put on over a large splint with swelling, and then again with a cast. Kept the area clean and dry during showers. Dried quickly. The rubber opening stretches and does not lose its shape. Used for 4 weeks and nary a leak.
