Q: Does these pants have pockets?

These don't have pockets but they are thin and very soft. They are made in California and feels amazing in the 100+°F out here. They are very breezy as well and feel amazing against the skin. I have sensitive skin and these are amazing and feel great.

Q: Would these be good for really hot weather, just lounging around and walking the dog around the block etc.?

They are really comfy, and light. I got them just in time for the hot heat wave and they were perfect! I didn't get overly hot in them and they are light enough to let your skin breath in the hot weather.
