The pockets are the average size for Levi’s jeans.

Q: Do these shrink when washed?

Unfo no, they don't shrink all that much. and I wanted them too. I even bought Woolite Black to help. I've heard or read that a scosh of white vinegar will unstiffen them. My Lucky brand jeans wore a home in front right thigh, so these last longer. They have a teensy tiny bit of spandex or something in them so as you get older they STILL fit quite well. Pockets are cavernous.
