Excellent in Greek yogurt
Superp sweetner, I love the taste and mainly use it on my Keto diet for a dessert in full fat greek yogurt and mix with some frozen fruits like Strawberries, blueberries, raspberries or cherries and often add a few walnuts for crunch🍒 or make a coffee or chocolate flavoured yoghurt, sometimes a lemon or lime one with Truvia added

The best sugar substitute available
I bought this pack of three as gifts for my elderly diabetic family members. After they waxed eloquently about it, I decided to try it out for myself. Truvia is made out of the extracts of a South American plant, Stevia. The process of extracting the sweetness is something like tea. In some parts of the world, people steep and strain the leaves to use its sweet juices. As I discovered on the internet, this is very safe for diabetics. 'Here's why it's so good: Stevia leaves contain two "glycoside" molecules, steioside and rebaudioside, which are 300 times sweeter than table sugar. Stevia has no calories, a zero glycemic index (meaning it has no carbs), no artificial ingredients, and no effect on blood sugar.'So, other than it being safe for diabetics with a sweet tooth, it is also a useful trick for the calorie conscious: I tea spoon of truvia is equal to three teaspoons of sugar so, if you are baking a cake, you could blend it with sugar and halve the calories of the cake! That is what I did. Unlike aspartame, stevia extracts do not undergo any changes in the heat and my cake looked and tasted fine. What I wasn't too happy about was the taste of sweetness in my throat, it is quite similar to liquorice or cinnamon, both of which leave an underlying sweetness in your throat. A lot of people might be annoyed about it, but to people who crave for desserts and can't have them, this will be godsend! Moreover, I discovered the regular Sprite available in the UK has started adding Stevia extracts, it tastes no different and has 30% less calorie.

Good value package I’ve always liked truvia as it’s one of the few sweeteners that has a natural taste and No bitter after taste.Great for cooking and you don’t need as much as you would if using regular sugarLove the handy plastic jars which can be up cycled and used for storage of truvia in the packet or other items such as spices, beans etcI hope you found this review helpful

Miracle Food!
Heard about stevia from a friend after telling her that my wife and I were going through a major dietary change (New Years' Resolutions and all that). I've never been one for sweeteners, given their unnatural production and chemical taste, but decided to give this a go after doing a little research into the origins of stevia itself. Since using it, I can't understand why sugar was ever used by anybody in the first place. Not only is stevia calorie-free, but it is entirely natural and actually tastes of something. I've spoken with other family members who didn't like the taste of stevia, but in my opinion the taste alone beats sugar hands-down. Then you only have to look at how 'Truvia', Silver Spoon's version of stevia, can be used literally as a replacement for sugar in all applications. We've baked with it, tasted it on grapefruit halves, used it in teas and coffees. I can't recommend this stuff enough.

Sweet!
Of all the artificial sweeteners I've tried - the Truvia variant (Stevia glycoside based) tastes ..sweet...with a "clean" edge. *No* after-taste. Dissolves rapidly & completely - and I've cooked with it as well!Only one tiny complaint - opening up the plastic container is a bit of a hassle - they've really sealed it up...but that's not really a problem!

Richtiger Zuckerersatz
Top
