EKWB EK-Nucleus CPU AIO CR240 Dark

I had this consistently running 8-12 hours a day for three(3) years straight - This cooler held on until late last week. It didn't outright fail, it seems like some of the liquid, overtime, evaporated, which is expected. Great product, easy to install and happy with the performance.

Comes with brackets for both AM5, LGA 1700 sockets. Maybe LGA 2011? Bad part is you have to gain access to the back side of the mobo to install it. Seems like a quality product, nice packaging. No RGB which is fine with me. Includes a tube of thermopaste in case you need to reinstall it sometime. Which I did when changing CPU's. The pump unit came pre pasted. Flex fittings at the pump unit allow for different positions. The included instructions give you the mounting options for the radiator position. Remember, don't make the pump the high point in the system. Air can settle there and shorten it's service life. Runs quiet. Had it on an Intel 13600k then an AMD 9700x, did a great job on both.

Exactly as expected. Works perfectly and keeps the pc cool for what I use it for. Looks great in the tower. Easy to follow instructions.

Nicely packed with attention to details down to the screws and stand off attachment tightening driver. Installation was straight forward and the CPU mount has thermal paste pre-applied with a backup syringe for multiple applications. I am in the process of prototyping several ITX build outs to cool a SP115 13900KS for potential portable use and I had started with some 280mm AIOs (EVGA and ID-Cooling) and a Hyte Revolt. I realized a 240mm just gives a better fit and more options for even smaller ITX cases (A4, D4 come to mind) . After much research, I went with the EK because it isn't bogged down with all types of extra cabling or require control software to work. You just plug in the pump to the pump header, plug in the fans to the fan header and go. It also achieved some of the best 240mm cooling scores out there. For reference, the ID-Cooling hit ~82c running the 13900ks full tilt for CB23 and the EVGA CLC 280mm hit ~80c. Both scored ~41k in CB23 pulling ~263w total. The EK Nucleus AIO only hit 72c achieving the same pull and score. All were tested on an MSI Z790i Edge with a contact frame and using same center applied dollop of KPX thermal paste in the same climate controlled room for consistency of testing. To say I was impressed is an understatement. I was already happy with 80c on the EVGA and all I wanted was a smaller AIO to at least match or get close to that but a full 10% drop in temps is fantastic. The build quality is classic EK excellence and the rotational EK pump cover is a nice touch. The cables are nice and short really aimed for a smaller case or ITX build out and they're plenty flexible. The fans daisy chain to each other for reduced wiring clutter too. Highly recommended.

The Nucleus 240 is sitting on a 7800x3d and cooling it like a champ. It's quiet. Clean as hell look being all black with no rgb. This was the perfect fit for.my case when I upgraded as I previously had a corsair h100 ( also a 240 rad) the build quality is top notch for an AIO. Install was fast and easy. With the included tools and parts box. The fans on the unit daisy chain and reduce cable clutter. I'd recommend to anyone with zen4 ryzen chips.

I've had to go through several of these because the installation process is arduous. The one I bought and sent back before this had impossible-to-use short screws that you had to put a spring on top of and try to screw in. Many corners needed more space to get fingers around, and screwdrivers were useless. Finally, I found this. If you've had the same problems as I, get this. It cools my CPU better than my prior water cooler. I'm delighted with it.

Passant du Ryzen 5600X au 5900X, je cherchais un AiO avec un design simple, sans rgb et performant pour remplacer mon ventirad Scythe Mugen 5 (qui refroidissait très bien le 5900X au passage) et je ne suis pas déçu ! Pour le prix la qualité de fabrication est remarquable, ça respire la qualité et la solidité avec un radiateur en aluminium. Dés l'ouverture de l'emballage on sent qu'on est sur un produit de qualité, malgré un prix défiant toute concurrence ! L'unboxing nous rappel ces matins de Noel quand on était enfant, même la notice est quali ! Et en plus très compréhensible et le tout est facile à installer. Il y a même des tutos sur leur chaine YT si jamais vous avez des doutes. Je l'ai installé dans ma tour NR200P, ça passe sans soucis. On peut facilement pivoter la pompe pour choisir l'orientation des câbles, les ventilateurs ont des petits pads pour amortir les vibrations (mais j'ai quand même mis des joints anti-vibration en plus dans le doute) D'ailleurs c'est peut être le seul point faible, les ventilo sont un peu bruyants (en même temps c'est du 2300 rpm) et avec les CPU actuels qui ont tendance à passer de 40C° à 70°C au moindre mouvement de souris, à moins de mettre des réglages dans le bios pour diminuer les montés en rpm des ventilateurs, il n'y a pas grand chose que l'on puisse faire. Mais si je devais faire une upgrade, ça serait changer les ventilateurs pour des Noctua pour encore plus de silence ! En terme de perf, mon Mugen 5 était déjà très performant, surtout sur le 5900X qui à ma grande surprise, se refroidit beaucoup mieux qu'un 5600X (du à la répartition des cœurs et à son architecture interne) donc j'ai facilement gagné 10°C grâce au AiO sur mon CPU, par contre j'ai pris 5°C sur mon GPU vu que ma tour est dans ma bibliothèque, donc l'air chaud remonte dans le GPU, mais dans tous les cas, mon GPU ne dépasse pas les 70°C donc rien d'alarmant. Dans les graphs, vous pouvez voir en rouge les températures du CPU et GPU sur l'air cooling (Mugen 5) et en vert le watercooling EK sur The Finals, PUBG et Battlefield 2042

Sehr leise und gute Kühlleistung. Ich habe erst eine Corsair H100i Elite installiert gehabt. Die Lüfter dort waren zwar besser, jedoch war die Pumpe unerträglich. Die AIO kommt in Einsatz um einen I5-14600k in einem Jonsbo A4 Gehäuse zu kühlen. Nach einem 10 Minütigen Cinebench Test hat sich die Temperatur auf 70 Grad eingependelt. Die Pumpe ist kaum hörbar, auch mit 100% Pumpenleistung, lässt sich aber einfach über die BIOS Tools in der Geschwindigkeit in einem Bereich von 0 RPM - 3080RPM einstellen. Die mitgelieferten Lüfter wirken sehr wertig. Sie lassen sich ebenfalls über BIOS Tools in der Geschwindigkeit in einem Bereich von 600RPM - 224 0 RPM einstellen. Die Verpackung ist wirklich sehr schön und zusammen mit der Anleitung wird man strukturiert durch die Installation geleitet. Wer mehr Hilfe braucht, es gibt auch ein offizielles Youtube Video das einem durch die Installation begleitet.

Great build quality as expected from EK , very very easy to install & comes with a locking mechanism that means you cannot overtighten the system which you may think could damage the CPU. Unit is silent and i can only recommend based upon the functionality , quality & noise levels However EK . . . . recently learned they're as bad as Microsoft , nVIDIA & Intel - scum company unfortunately
